How do you care for this plant and how long does it last
Answer by ChewyJan 31, 2018
Simply transfer plant to a clean container, allow it to dry overnight, and remove any algae or deposits with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse plant under warm water before placement. You may also wish to soak plant in hot water to help restore fullness lost in packaging. Also, the length of time the bamboo will stay fresh will vary.

Would this be safe for a bird cage?
Answer by ChewyNov 12, 2018
Because this bamboo is made of plastic and could be chewed and ingested, it's not recommended for use in a bird cage.

Artificial bamboo

In the aquarium we both thought they looked tacky, just like most artificial aquarium plants. She used them to dress up the mantle above the fireplace. They look much better on the mantle. At least we got to use them, I bought 2.

Good size for the price

Just bought our second set of two. They take up a good amount of space in our 55 gallon aquarium both horizontally and vertically. Our two extra large clown loaches are able to swim and the bottom without dislodged them.

Plastic plant

Very nice color and decently made. The base is a bit light so you will need to add rocks or bury it. It looks nice in the tank and provides decent hiding for fry while allowing easy viewing of them.

Looks natural

Was hesitant about getting an artificial plant since I have a couple of real ones. This one looks great! I followed the instructions of soaking it in hot water to loosen it up . Did it a few times to minimize the plastic smell.

Lots to work with

I have a few fish tanks and a mix of fish, shrimp and snails. I was able to take one of these packages and make it work in all three of my tanks so i am pretty happy and i think the shrimp are extra happy they have some good cover. the plastic is smooth and soft enough that it works with my betta tank and the betta rests on it as it floats in his tank.

Very skinny

Yeah it’s tallest strand is 3 feet tall but frankly it’s very skinny and only one strand is actually 3 feet tall. There are other products on the market that are just as tall, fuller and with a weighted base for less money

Love it and so does my Betta

I have a 3 gallon tank, and luckily you can take some pieces of the plant off to shorten it or thin it out. I love it though; it fits the vibe and my betta likes it.
