is this good for a 120 gal tank

The 50 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 12 gallons. The 75 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 20 gallons. The 100 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 29 gallons. The 150 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 40 gallons. The 200 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 55 gallons. The 250 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 70 gallons. The 300 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 80 gallons. The 400 watt size is recommended for aquariums up to 125 gallons.
Will the 400 watt be okay for a 75gal or is 300 watt more ideal?

When you are in between recommended tank sizes, it is recommended to choose the larger of these heaters and program the heat to a suitable level for your aquatic environment.

Is the whole heater able to be submerged including the dial?

I bought two of these and they seem to be working well. They were easy to put in the tanks and the fish seem happy.

curious big company typo

Box and picture shows clearly visible white temperature numbers at the top of heater. I get the heater and no white numbers . Either add white numbers or correct the box and picture. temperature settings are impossible to see-really. I guess i will guess and adjust.

Caught on fire.

I have had this for 2 days and it just caught on fire! Do not order. Your pets safety comes before an affordable water heater! Be careful please.

Awful fish tank heater

Stopped working after a month. Very disappointing. Sent a message in, but I haven’t heard back. Chewy is an honest company that usually fixes issues so I am not that worried I just don’t want my fish to be cold

This thing sucks!

Heater stopped working within a few days after installing. Also, it doesn't tell you what the temperature of the water actually is, so you would need to purchase a thermometer in addition to this heater.
