hard on system
Although economical, not ideal for daily prolonged use . Causes digestive issues, swelling, varying side effects. Helpful for temporary short term relief as alternative to Galiprant .
Decent price
Can't beat the price compared to human pharmacy. Helping my old collie be more mobile. So far he is tolerating it well.
I’ve got my puppy back!
My old pup has pep in his step again! My 9 year old Anatolian Shepherd had a hard life before he showed up on my doorstep 8 years ago, half starved and having traveled across the state on foot, being beaten away at every turn. So he has had bad arthritis and hip dysplasia from a young age, aggravated by a bad fall in his youth. Due to food allergies and being a picky eater, I have never found any supplements I could sneak in that made any difference. But the very first dose of this, and he actually FROLICKED! Much more joint mobility and HAPPIER to have some pain relief! And I slip it in a little cream cheese and he thinks he is a GOOD BOY! Wish I had known there was a cheap effective solution to give him relief years earlier. I’ve got my puppy back!
Works great for arthritis
Meloxicam has helped our dog tremendously with the arthritis in her hips. She was only getting up when she absolutely had to, and has now returned to normal activity after 2 weeks of taking Meloxicam. I'm rating the Meloxicam we received from Chewy a 4 out of 5 because the price was great, but the pills are larger (both in diameter and thickness) than what we received from the vet. They're slightly harder to conceal in her treats, and harder to cut in half. We will continue to buy them, but would rate a 5 if they had a cut line, or better yet if we could buy them in the correct dosage without having to cut. We'd be willing to pay more for that.

My older dog of 10 years was prescribed Meloxicam from our Vet. It was so easy to send in my prescription to Chewy and it was wonderful to have it delivered to our door! She has bad knees and now she is jumping around!

I am grateful for the nice people at Chewy. There was a delay in getting my acct going, but other than that once last that smooth sailing. Lol. Such a convienence to have Izzabella's meds shipped to my home. Altho Izzabella's diagnosis, there's no cure for, I do believe the Meloxicam helps my sweet girl! Best drug ever for arthritis
Our Vet put our 12 year old lady on Meloxicam for her arthritis. Prior to starting the med she had difficulty walking, climbing the stairs, and looked like she was In constant pain. I started to see improvement in 5 days and after 10 days she was running, able to manage a flight of stairs without someone with her, wagging her tail and appeared to be pain free. Appetite improved and she spends less time in her bed sleeping. I would recommend this med for any pet that has arthritis.
