A slip lead can be a very effective tool for walking powerful pullers. Because your dog will feel pressure quickly, they are more likely to release it themselves and self-train not to pull.

I see that this lead is waterproof but how would you suggest I clean it? As a volunteer for our local humane society, I walk lots of dogs - some of whom are recovering from serious illnesses.

This lead is machine washable, air dry only.

This is the best training leash I have found for safely starting larger dogs. Does not hurt their neck like other collars or chains. Has just the right feel for dog and owner. A quality, nice feeling rope. Easy on and off. As with any lead, common sense will tell you not to let your dog chew on it. When adjusted and used correctly, your dog cannot slip out like a normal collar. I purchased more to have them handy in vehicles, the home, and barn.

These leashes are way too tiny around the neck, I don't understand how even small dog can fit in this. The weight limit was set from 50-100 pounds, a 15 pound dog
