My cats NEED this formula to help decrease hairballs & post eating vomit. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this - Really does help all 3 cats have way less moments of that sound of kitty upchucking. They do not like the flavor of this hairball control on its own. I do mix this formula almost 1:1 with the original Meow Mix dry food. They eat it all up at each feeding happily.
My poor kitty was hacking, dry heaving! This is a sure sign of a hairball! I bought this and mixed it in with their regular food, and the next morning, she brought it up ! I was thrilled, no more hacking or dry heaving! Yay
I sure sympathize with other Furry friends regarding Hairball problem. But I've checked the searches for cure during high shedding season. I purchased salmon oil although it says to put on the cat I put a few drops with Salmon Pate ... This AM Kiki left the surprise in his box. I was so happy and so is he. This salmon oil is not a recommendation for all. I purchased it from chewy and has also helped the immune system. Thanks 🙏 again Chewy!
I have a very fluffy cat that has hairballs often despite brushing him all the time, so I switched him to this food slowly (previous food was the same brand so I thought the transition would be easy, mixing a spoonful into his old food). This immediately sickened my poor boy, he was throwing up constantly, making sad crying sounds, could barely walk, and couldn't even lift his head or eat his favorite treats. Vet and I honestly thought he wasn't going to make it and he's only 3, it was just devastating. He's managed to miraculously pull through but he looks like he's lost a ton of weight. Never changing his food again and never ever recommending this type!
I can't recommend this because it made my cat vomit every time she ate it. I donated it to our local shelter so hopefully it didn't go to waste :)
My cats love this, I gradually added it to their regular dry food to introduce it to them. They just wouldn't stop eating. This mixture has already been helping my long haired cat a lot. I would recommend this Meow Mix Hairball Control to help with furballs.
Tabitha has been on Meow Mix since she was a kitten. She use to cough up hairballs regularly. She has always been healthy. When Hairball control came out I switched to that. Now she rarely coughs up furballs and she is about 16 years old and still living a good life - albeit a little slower now.
Great food my cat loves it. Good price! Easy to order. Fast delivery. Thank you
I would say that it lessens his hairballs about 50% but he still gets them. So I guess it’s worth it.
i was given some of this for my cat (he is a rescue) and he seems to like it..it is hard to find however..have tried purina brand hairball and its more expensive, but the cat likes that as well..difference is 3 or 4 $ in brand! the whole point is to keep the hairballs from forming by fiber and washing them out..even shorter haired kitties need this!
