Kittens generally nibble solid foods at 3 - 4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Meow Mix® Kitten L'il Nibbles® cat food available to these kittens at all times. After weaning at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. If water is added, use no more than 1 part warm (not hot) liquid to 3 parts Meow Mix® Kitten L'il Nibbles® cat food, changing frequently to ensure freshness. Always provide your cat with a fresh bowl of water.
When introducing Meow Mix® cat food gradually mix it with your cat's current food over the course of 7 - 10 days.

Perfect size
By Gaby on Jan 8, 2021
I bought Meow Mix Kitten food for my kitten when he was ready to start exploring eating solid and crunchy food and he would try eating my other cat's dry food. I would put a little in a separate tray from his wet kitten food. The size of the food was perfect for his tiny teeth and even my older cat would try and eat some so I am assuming it passed the taste and texture test. I also bought this for a stray cat for her kittens.

Kitten prefers

I usually get kitten chow but bought a bag of Meow mix and offer Smoothie her choice. She goes for the Meow mix 9 out of 10 times. Not fond of the high amount of dye in the food but she did well on it, and now Cooper is choosing as his first choice. He so far only likes dry food and doesn't touch the wet food put out, where as Smoothie brings a straw to the wet food plate. Looking at both, Cooper is the healthier looking kitten.

Great price and mom approved
By Clovergirl on Feb 5, 2021
I rescued a feral that was pregnant. I have been feeding this to her- during her pregnancy and now that she's nursing, and I am thankful it's not too expensive! I only wish it had a larger bag size to choose from- my nursing mom cat is eating A LOT and I am having to order 3 and 4 bags at a time.

Cancelled Auto Ship
By Gott2beme on Dec 14, 2020
I have ordered from chewy before and never had a problem like this before. But as you can see in the pictures .. the bag of food was not sealed .. food was all over in the box and was coming through the seams when my grandson was bringing it. I will definitely be cancelling my auto ship with this product. Other than that .. my kitten loves this food.

My babies love this, they're rescues that followed us home from the post office, I found them a home I thought, but they starved them, when I got them back I decided to just keep them, at least I know they were safe. They love this food, I feed them this with the friskies, they love them both

I like to switch up the dry food and this is a good choice. Two cats over 15yo and one just over a year old. They all love this!

Marley loves it
By MarleyK on Jan 3, 2021
Cat food is dry as you know. My kitty will eat it. However, loves wet food.... Salman, seafood, and beef flavors. Cats are very finicky I love them because they know what they want, like and love.

By Lizzie13 on Jan 7, 2021
Apparently this didn't have the flavor the kitten wanted, bc although she tried it briefly, she kept eating the big cats' food instead!!

Meow mix has been around for a while, and my three furballs seem to like this one made for kittens.(my cats are not babies anymore) .they just seem to like the flavor better and the cost is cheaper
