Why is there lavender in this as it’s a known toxin to cats

Small slivers of catnip that cut you

I have gotten splinters from handing this catnip. I am using it inside of toys I have made. Afraid it might hurt one of my cats if they eat it. They do love it but

They do love it but I am afraid they might get hurt when eating it. The pieces of stick are really sharp and I worry about them hurting themselves if they eat it.
