Merrick Brand is Good Quality Food
My Corgi puppy has been eating this since first arriving back in late October of '22. He seems to love it as much as when he was first introduced to it. Always leaves a clean bowl. I do top this kibble with a fresh food from a brand that I am on subscription for. He seems to process this food without any complications. I've tried other premium kibble brands but found the Merrick is reliable in terms of quality, appearance and formulation.

I know it’s pricey, but Bones is my only baby and he loves the flavor of chicken. This is the one food he would salivate over before I even put it in his bowl and he’s a picky one! Really awesome quality and great formula.
Puppy Food
Good nutritious food for my dog is one of my top priorities. When I got my new puppy this was no different and I knew I’d go with Chewy and this dog food. My puppy eats it right up
MY DOG IS WORTH THE COST
My dog loves this dog food, although it is pricey it meets all my expectations of a great clean dog food. I hope they continue to make this dog food in the USA. It’s good to know that I am feeding my dog, a well-balanced product and without a doubt Merrick meets the challenge!
Bag ripped open, kibble all over
Opened box and bag ripped open, food all over in box. Called Chewy and new bag sent. Partial blame on Merrick for their bag sealing design; major blame on Chewy warehouse workers for mishandling bags as they are packed for shipping (appears they workers rip the bags as they throw the bags about while in the warehouse and into the boxes). I've had multiple orders from Chewy where the bag was delivered ripped open and kibble everywhere. Oh, and many of the boxes had to be re-taped shut due to poor packing practices that Chewy follows

Love this food.
I have been feeding Merrick foods to my dogs for the last 10 years. My dogs have always loved it and thrived on it. Beautiful healthy coats. No allergic reactions like with other foods.
Something changed with this batch
There seemed to have something changed with this specific order of Merrick puppy food. My dog who’s 7 months now have been eating this dry food since he was 2 months. But for some reason since we received this order in April 29th he’s been refusing to eat it, fast forward to 2 weeks later he started throwing up, shivering, lethargic that we had to take him to the ER. Based from the x-ray he had something in his stomach that he needs to pass. He was on medication for 5 days and doing great.. we tried giving him the dry food again (less than a quarter) lo and behold he threw up again. Could this batch be bad? I hope someone can help figure this out.
Why has the cost bloated so much?
In just this year alone, the 22lbs bag has gone from $59 to $69 dollars. And I recall it being cheaper in prior years.
