I have one dog on a special diet, but flexible enough that she can have the occasional treat. She especially loves a bit of something wonderful on her dinner portion

I have one dog on a special diet, but flexible enough that she can have the occasional treat. She especially loves a bit of something wonderful on her dinner portion. I added a small sample to the dinner kibble for both dogs and both went to the Merrick and ate that first before the regular food. I like the ingredients list, they like the flavor, we are all happy.

No "coating" on the "coated" kibbles??

Purchased based on description of the product as "coated". We believed this to be on par with Natures Diet. There is no comparison. The Merrick product is small,

The Merrick product is small, dry, and most definitely not "coated" at least to the eye or to the touch. Not sure what the story is but we cannot recommend the Merrick product.

We adopted our dog 8 months ago. She’s a farm dog and was accustomed to a totally different diet! Through a lot of trial and error, this is the only kibble she will eat! We add farm eggs to her kibble in the morning and FreshPet over it in the evening. It adds the perfect balance for her nutritional needs and preference! I wish it was a little less pricy; but to have peace of mind knowing she’s a healthy weight and is happy. it’s worth it!
