Does anyone know how much a cup of this food should weigh Based on the nutrition info since that’s a more accurate measurement then using a scoop

Generally for dog food, 4 cups is about 1 pound. The 4-lb bag has an approximate total of 16 cups and the 12-lb bag has an approximate total of 48 cups. In this case, 1 cup weighs about 1/4 of a pound or 4 ounces. For the largest and oldest dog on the feeding chart, a 12-lb bag would last about 8 days. For the smallest and oldest dog on the feeding chart, a 12-lb bag would last about 96 days.

Smells great but my girl doesn’t like it.

I felt the need to write this review because even though my little one didn’t like it, it seems like an excellent food. It smells really good, not like regular dog

I felt the need to write this review because even though my little one didn’t like it, it seems like an excellent food. It smells really good, not like regular dog food. The bites are not super tiny but small enough. I’m struggling to find something my girl likes. This is the 3rd brand and still cannot find the right fit. I bought the dry kibble and the small trays. The hard food she didn’t even try. The trays she ate one and that was it. It may not be for your dog if they’re super picky eaters.

My Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix (Jackabee), loves this food. Then again, she'd eat almost anything lol. But in all seriousness, I wanted a good that would hit the mark for her as she is HIGH ENERGY whew! And thrives on moving from the very moment she opens her beautiful eyes, until she "reluctantly" gets ready for bed time :)) But she finally does. The Merrick Lil' Plates Grain-Free, Small Breed Chicken and Sweet Potatoes has been a fabulous choice. She has been thriving. We found our sweet Ginger when she was about three months. We did all the responsible searching for her owner, billboards, microchip, etc. But nothing turned up. She was eating garbage - ironically chicken bones at the time when my husband found her. We took her to our Vet a couple days later and she was fine. She had all her pertinent vaccines then. Now fast forward, she's current and spade and chipped. She's a healthy, extremely strong lol, 23.4 lbs of sheer delight, love and energy. We love her. As does her brother, Cass, her slightly older sibling who they get along. Occasionally, if Ginger gets TOO Rambunctious, the Cass will let her know lol. But overall, they are now what I'd call "bonded." :) Ginger will be about a year in mid to late August so by then, we will make the switch to Adult food. Btw, this food is puppy mouth friendly as the kibble is smaller. Just so you know. If you have a much larger breed of dog with a larger mouth, perhaps he or she might prefer a slightly larger kibble? I guess that's certainly up to you. My Ginger didn't mind though. Love to all you great fur parents. You ALL ROCK! :))
