Can you add to make a 3 unit cage?

The add-on can be added to both the single and/or the double story cage. The add-on unit listed for this product is model 183, which is compatible with the single story (model 181) and double story (model 182).

Can you remove the large center platform?

The large center platform can be removed, however, without this platform there is no method for a small animal to climb up to higher levels.

The top is taken off the Double Unit and the Add On Unit is added. The top would then be placed on the add-on unit after installation.

This add on arrived in perfect condition. I think I got one of the originals because I did not get a plastic ramp it was one of the metal ones like you’d get from the original sets. A few years ago I got a ferret nation that was damaged so I had to request a replacement so I was very pleasantly surprised that this one was absolutely perfect! No dents scratches etc! My fuzzbutts thank you!

Wrong color

I bought this ad on to go with my ferret cage and it's not the same color. I realize some people don't care much about the color matching but I do when I was expecting

I bought this ad on to go with my ferret cage and it's not the same color. I realize some people don't care much about the color matching but I do when I was expecting it to be the same matching color as my entire double decker cage. I contacted customer service via chat and Google searched for an answer to find out why it is different. Turns out that the newer cages (that I bought) are an ebony black and I was sent an older style platinum grey one. If y'all want to sell the older style ones, then atleast state that or discount it a bit for those that aren't bothered by the difference so people know ahead of time if they're looking to get all matching pieces.

Easy to put together

came in a nice package, hard to get out since the fittings of the cage panels were clinging to each other. They fit together easily and were able to be zip tied

came in a nice package, hard to get out since the fittings of the cage panels were clinging to each other. They fit together easily and were able to be zip tied securely onto an older model (screw version) i will always love this cage. Large doors for entry, large easy to remove trays and shelves. It is short enough for my to open as a three level, but too tall for me to actually do any cage maintenance. If you go for three levels either take the shelf off the bottom and have the bottom cage flush with the floor or get out the step ladder!

I was very happy with the quality of this cage. I ordered the 3rd story add on unit and our ferret loves it. The cage was easy to put together and is sturdy. The only thing that i did not know about was that they sell add ons for ferrets that are not well litter box trained to help prevent the ferret from going to the bathroom in the corner of the low pans and having it fall out. It would have been nice if the pans that came with it just had taller edges.
