My dog loves this!
I'm actually surprised to see all the bad reviews! My senior dog LOVES having this in his crate. I purchased this in 30" a couple of years ago, but have since upgraded to a larger crate. I still use the old one (I've placed it in the kitchen where he sits or lays waiting for his meals/treats or for me to finish my meals), and it's held up quite nicely. My dog has urinary incontinence issues, so I always have numerous crate mats/pads so there's at least one that's clean & dry if he get another one wet. Many mats/pad have not held up well to all the wash/dry cycles, but this one has. Because the fleece is quite thick, this isn't something that can be washed & dried quickly, so that can be a bit of a pain. I would caution against drying this (or ANY fleece for that matter) on high, or even medium if your dryer runs hotter than normal. Though I haven't had any issues with this product, I've had fleece clothes and blankets literally melt & become super rough, matted messes if the dryer temperature was either set too high or ran unusually hot. For whatever reason, although my dog really enjoys biting and ripping apart fleece toys, he hasn't destroyed this. I had to stop him from biting it a couple times when he first saw I purchased him a new one (he was soooo excited!), but there wasn't any damage. I think he leaves it alone because he likes it so much, but fleece toys don't last more than a minute. It you have a puppy or older dog that's destructive and tries ripping everything apart, this would NOT be the best purchase. The. The blue fur does shed a little bit early on when it's brand new, but it's nothing too excessive. My dog is also a digger, so maybe it won't be noticeable for you. I had another faux fur crate pad/bed from this company that was a huge mess, but I haven't had that issue with this one.
Sweet dreams
This comfy crate mat turned an uninviting bedtime crate that my little one reluctantly entered into a soft and welcoming spot to spend his time alone. The mat is attractive, soft, and machine washable. I have an older plastic crate that is just about an inch or so longer than the mat, and while I wish it were available in exactly the right size, it's not really a problem.
Seems a good solution.
The mat is nice. The covering is soft but doesn't feel like a quality fleece. Its stuffing appears like it'll not hold up; that however, remains to be seem with time. Probably an adequate purchase for the price.
perfect for stroller
The stroller I bought had no measurable softness. I measured the cavity and chose the 22 inch pad. It fit perfectly. I'm happy with this purchase.
Well made but our lab chewed on it
This mat was ordered for a crate and unfortunately it was a little too much for our lab, he decided to chew on it. The product itself is great but we are going to have to stick with a thinner mat.
Great Bed!
I've been using these beds for 20 years and they are made well, last a long time thru many, many washes and are a great price.
Nice dog pad
Soft, pretty and looks great in the crate, plus it's reversible. We are crate training our puppy and I wanted additional cushioning for her in the crate. Bella loves her crate and she often goes in during the day to take a nap. She is very comfy!
Puppy love for Midwest reversible dog crate
The 24" Midwest reversible dog crate fits perfectly inside the 24" Midwest crate. My mini poodle puppy loves her crate as a result and I don't hear her moving around in it at night (if she does, that is) as it muffles sound. I haven't washed it yet. My puppy pulls it out of the crate during the day and uses it as a one of her beds.
Coming apart after second wash
I have had one of these for well over a year and loved it, so I ordered another one last month. The new one has started coming apart after the second wash. Appears thicker but of poorer quality than the one I ordered last year.
Our large breed dog loves her crate now!
Our large breed Vizsla / Lab / Pit mix loves laying in her crate now! Will often go in her crate on her own and lap down or nap. Pretty crazy for a dog who gets zoomies! She can destroy anything with stuffing within a matter of minutes. So, naturally I was worried what she'd do with this! She has never even tried to chew this!
