This cage skimped out with how heavy it was built this new version is missing key lock in points to keep it secure. The old one the rods went thru loops on the top and bottom to secure it this new one does not. I have 180lbs to 200lb dogs and if they really wanted to they could push this open with no problem and it would fall apart. Very poor new design with this one and if it wouldn't have been such a hassle to take down and return I would have returned it.

Worst assembly & shipping

I don't know why they ship it like they do, but they always arrive impossible to put together. Don't bother with this thing if you can't lift 200 lbs, don't have power tools, a saw to cut the wires, 3-4 hours of time and at least 2 people.. and probably a few cases of alcohol. The warehouse people package these so incompetently. The wires will be tangled up to the point you can't even separate panels and literally have the cut the metal and destroy the kennel just to try to put it together. It's a matter of stupidity with packaging, and they ship them in the thinnest cardboard with a small slip of foam so they're always damaged by arrival. The kennel itself is huge and heavy but assembly is tedious and the design is NOT sturdy or stable. I use these because they are the largest on the market unfortunately, but I really truly hope something better comes along. These are a massive pain in the you know what.

Worst cage ever. When I was first taken out of the box, it was all tangled up mixed together, and some of the side pieces were bent that you have tostick the pole through. After an hour and a half the cage is still not put together. Worst Design ever and the instructions are not to follow. Would not recommend to anyone not only did. I have to pay so much money for this cage. Now I have to pay somebody to come put it together for me. Complete rip off.

Terrible

If I could leave zero stars I would. The metal was severely bent and a few places and broken in one and the tray pan was broken. Chewy with their excellent customer

If I could leave zero stars I would. The metal was severely bent and a few places and broken in one and the tray pan was broken. Chewy with their excellent customer service to care of it. We will not order another large crate to be delivered like that again We will have to order one online or go through the marketplace

Not truly collapsible

Crate was extremely damaged upon arrival. Plastic catch pan is cracked badly and multiple bent metal hooks. Expected MidWest to hold true with callapsible crates

Crate was extremely damaged upon arrival. Plastic catch pan is cracked badly and multiple bent metal hooks. Expected MidWest to hold true with callapsible crates like all the smaller ones. I've had plenty of their crates before, but first time getting the biggest one available. Only recommended if you plan on setting up and leaving it in place.

Believe it or not I ordered this for my 4 month old Shih Tzu. I put her in this crate when I go to church or grocery shopping because she loves my 9 year old Brussels Griffon/Pug cross. Yoshi does NOT love and appreciate Yana!!! Can't say that strongly enough! I didn't want Yana to feel cramped. She doesn't seem to mind being put in the crate. At least that way I can be assured of coming back to a live puppy! Seriously, the crate is excellent quality! All the Midwest products are super good. They will last forever!!! Kathy Hoyt

Keeps My Dog Enclosed, When Necessary.

The enclosure keeps my dog enclosed, when he needs to be in a controlled environment. The enclosure was difficult to put together and bends easily, not as solid

The enclosure keeps my dog enclosed, when he needs to be in a controlled environment. The enclosure was difficult to put together and bends easily, not as solid as I expected for the price. The enclosure should have been built more solid and stronger, easier to put together and sold at a more reasonable price. It does the job.

Damaged

I ordered this in December but did not end up needing it until a couple of weeks ago. It was sitting undisturbed in the garage and the box was fine. Upon unboxing

I ordered this in December but did not end up needing it until a couple of weeks ago. It was sitting undisturbed in the garage and the box was fine. Upon unboxing we found the panels bent up and the tray completely cracked. I admit I should have unboxed it sooner but I do find it ridiculous that a replacement tray is not even available for purchase. If I am spending this much on a kennel I would like to be able to replace the tray eventually.

LOTS OF ASSEMBLY REQUIRED

I am very disappointed in this crate. Although the online instructions show that it folds, it does not. Had I known that, I wouldn't have ordered it. I paid a handyman

I am very disappointed in this crate. Although the online instructions show that it folds, it does not. Had I known that, I wouldn't have ordered it. I paid a handyman to assemble it, and it took over an hour. When I move in a few months, I am going to have to pay him to take it apart and reassemble it. Also, it does not feel sturdy. Do not buy this crate unless you don't mind putting it together.
