What does the 36" version weigh of this gold zinc x-pen weigh? It reads in the listing "7 pounds" and that can't possibly be correct. I own the smaller 24" version and it weighs about 12 pounds (as listed here). I now have issues lifting things. It can't be too heavy, but I need an accurate weight.

You would have thought Chewy would have answered this…but i looked it up and the 62 x 62 x 36 inches; weighs 24.6 Pounds.

This Pen is not designed to be a free standing gate.

Will this pen work indoors and stay stable without using the ground anchors?

This pen can be used indoors without the anchors. Since this playpen is metal, there is a chance it can scratch hard floors. We recommend placing a blanket down or setting the pen on a carpet or rug, when possible.

My 17-week-old Portuguese Water Dog ate the clip in under 30 seconds. This is a SAFETY RISK and should not be sold for use with puppies.

We've had this for only a short time, and so far we've used it only in the house to block off the area around the front door so that Teddy can’t tear the mail as it comes through the slot. It seems to be really solidly built without being too heavy, easy to fold and unfold, and nice-looking in the gold finish. We will be using it to block off a much larger area inside when we have workmen going in and out of the house. The number of panels, and the fact that they are all attached makes it very flexible and sooo useful.

I took this along when I rented a AirBnb to introduce my older pup to our new pup. I kept all of the new pup’s belongings and food inside the pen separate from my other dog when I couldn’t supervise them. My new dog was too small to get over the door entrance so I turned the assembly upside down and it worked like a charm. My new pup who is 8 lbs could enter and leave with the gate open effortlessly.

I’m so-so on this. Initially I was stoked to find this color, however the color isn’t even throughout the metalwork. Some of it is actually almost a green color

I’m so-so on this. Initially I was stoked to find this color, however the color isn’t even throughout the metalwork. Some of it is actually almost a green color. Not a huge deal since we planned to use it outside anyway. Well, our puppies SCREAMED in it. Not sure what the issue is, since they’re doing great with crate training, but they do not like being in it. Also, it’s made for small dogs but our mini dachshund can’t go in and out on his own as the threshold is set too high. Chewy so kindly asked that we donate it rather than return, so we dropped it off at the SPCA yesterday.

We set this up in living room. He actually has come to like it and we only set him in there as needed. He does stay asleep now in his crib all night. A work in progress. Set up very easy. We opened box and made it into a rectangle.
