My senior mini-aussie was absolutely miserable: stiff joints, bloody panels for kidney and liver not great, etc. He had been on an expensive prescription diet. I added home-made dog food with this supplement and his transformation has been amazing. Talked to the Vet (specialist) and he said he gives it to his dogs too. Highly recommend.
I searched and searched for a product to give my aging dogs that will help them in their older years, and this really has helped tremendously. My 11 y/o boys can run and play like pups! This gives them what they might be missing by eating kibble, so I am happy with this product.
Reviews are meant to describe the quality of the product. This supplement is amazing for senior dogs. To the person griping about the price increase - thank your government for the inflation and don't take it out on businesses. The only way for a business to stay operating is to make profit. If you can't afford to keep your elderly pup healthy, then vote better next time. Otherwise, buy this ;)
We have purchased the original formula in the past for a senior dog and saw so much improvement in her mobility. This one has been fed to our big senior (65lbs) and we are preemptively starting our one year old (17lbs) on it. Senior has less shakiness when standing/laying and is much more willing to goof around with the little one after only a couple weeks.
I use 2 different types from Missing link to give our 12 year old Lab the extra energy. Andre also started having soreness in one of his leg tendons and this and the hip and joint powder really helps
Used missing link original for years, have recently switched to missing link for senior dogs. No problem making the transition and I’m seeing some improvement in digestive system already
The first order I received showed that she should only have a teaspoon a day. The package for her was way too much and much expired. I should have asked the question sooner, can it be frozen and how long is the time extended? Turns out it added three months and I am hoping this second shipment will be used up in the 9 months!
This and the original missing link formula have been a great addition to my old pup's diet. It helps the coat and I like to think it makes a difference in her overall health. She's a 15 year old GSD, so something has been working. The product is great. Two stars to Chewy as a company though.
This is easy to use as it is already ground but it sticks to their bowls and they don’t like it, only 1 of my 3 will eat it
We have been adding Missing Link to our 13-year-old girl's wet food for several years now, and recently switched to the senior brand. She doesn't seem to notice any difference when she's eating it. We recommend Missing Link to all dog owners to help their dogs stay active and healthy.
