About Modesto Milling

Modesto Milling was established in 1974 as a dairymen’s co-op. In 1997, a group of local dairymen convinced the Board of Directors to start manufacturing organic dairy grain mixes. By January 1998, Modesto Milling gained its organic certification from Oregon Tilth of Salem, Ore. They became the first organic grain processor in Central California, and ever since, Modesto Milling has been manufacturing high quality organic feed for many different types of livestock.

All the ingredients are sourced from all over the world. All of these products are manufactured at the manufacturer's mill in Empire CA.

Questioning Iron levels

My horse didn't initially like the feed but now is eating it regularly. I like the amount of Vit A it has and has helped his eye health. I also loved it was low

My horse didn't initially like the feed but now is eating it regularly. I like the amount of Vit A it has and has helped his eye health. I also loved it was low sugar and all organic ingredients and actually like a super supplement. But I've noticed my geldings urine urine is quite orange in color now and staining his sheath. I am discontinuing use of it before the 1st bag is even gone and I bought 2. I wanted to love it.

I just switched from over from another ration balancer. The price is more than I'd like to cough up, but the ingredients give me comfort in knowing that my girls aren't consuming pesticides and whatever else is lurking in their feed. And my back appreciates the smaller bags.

Best Horse Ration Balancer on the Market

This is the only one I use after having done a lot of research - it has great ingredients and is organic. Haven't found anything like it. My horses love it, too
