Works well, but uncomfortable to wear

These work amazingly on my shorthair cat, but they are super uncomfortable to wear and the seams are beginning to unravel after a month of use. My cat hates being brushed, so I went with these ones for the price in case it just didn't work out. He does prefer these over brushes, but I think I need to look for a different type that's more comfortable to use. I find that the back of the velcro pokes through the lining and stabs my hands and wrists which is just really uncomfortable. In addition, the seam right by the velcro strap is beginning to unravel already. The actual grooming parts work terrifically, but I just hate wearing them and will be replacing them with another product once they're no longer useable.

I put them on and waited for Brownie to pop in. When he did, I reached out and stroked his back, he reacted like I had stuck his foot in an electric socket. He jumped

I put them on and waited for Brownie to pop in. When he did, I reached out and stroked his back, he reacted like I had stuck his foot in an electric socket. He jumped back and looked at me like I had attacked him. Second try was slightly less dramatic but still clear he isn't down for it. For this puppy, no glove is love.

My pup loves to see this glove come out. It's easy to put on and easy to clean in the washer. BUT it's not as effective as a grooming brush. I have a short-haired hound and it does okay at getting loose fur but it doesn't go much further than that. I still use it--it's like giving my dog a little massage and it's not as abrasive as other grooming tools.

The size is fine, but the fingers are wide and slip around. The gloves need to be a tighter fit for "petting" and grooming.
