Can this mat be vacuumed?

Vacuuming isn't very easy unless you have a low suction setting. I've found it easier to just shake them out and then wash them.

How well would this mat work in front of a cat's litter box?

super soft

The muddy mat is super soft and my grandkids absolutely love stepping on it. Our English bulldog enjoys it too after having to sleep on the cold tile floor, but

The muddy mat is super soft and my grandkids absolutely love stepping on it. Our English bulldog enjoys it too after having to sleep on the cold tile floor, but it is not ideal to wash it in your own washing machine. Even after taking a leaf blower to it to blow out some of her dog hairs, it still doesn't get all of it and it clogs up and dirties your washing machine. And most laundromats now have signs that do not allow for dog hair in their machines. Not the easiest to clean these mats other than taking a pressure washer to it out in the yard every so often.

I ordered this Muddy Mat as part of a larger order, and unfortunately did not pay close enough attention. The size is much smaller than I thought I had ordered,

I ordered this Muddy Mat as part of a larger order, and unfortunately did not pay close enough attention. The size is much smaller than I thought I had ordered, and therefore doesn't cover the entire space I need. However, I do think that it works pretty well to capture the snow and water than comes in on my pup's feet.

Seems to work.

It has dealt with the snow just fine. I ordered these when I was dealing with mud being tracked in. Within the few days before I received them our temperatures dropped

It has dealt with the snow just fine. I ordered these when I was dealing with mud being tracked in. Within the few days before I received them our temperatures dropped and we got quite a bit of snow. I have one at the storm door on the back porch and one as we go into the house from the porch. Her paws have been wet and I don't see any tracks once she comes into the house.

Comfy entry, clean feet!

Great product

Unfortunately it didn't stand up to the Harley test. Which is the worse test you can put it through. It was torn up on day one. So what's left of it I now I use

Works great!

I've had mine now for about 6 months and I can say they do actually work. I haven't noticed them stopping all mud/water, but they definitely help keep it down

I've had mine now for about 6 months and I can say they do actually work. I haven't noticed them stopping all mud/water, but they definitely help keep it down. The feature I love most is that the backing keeps it from sliding and moving all over. It stays in front of the door where I put it, not shifting constantly. I plan to get more and highly recommend these to anyone dealing with dogs that either love to run in the rain, play in mud puddles, or dig holes in the yard. It may not stop it all but it definitely helps greatly reduce the mess inside the home.

Works not true to size

This mat works! We have it in our mudroom and we live on a farm. There is lots of mud, snow, water that gets drug in. This is far superior than a regular entry mat

This mat works! We have it in our mudroom and we live on a farm. There is lots of mud, snow, water that gets drug in. This is far superior than a regular entry mat and a bunch of towels. It IS hard to vacuum. It is NOT true to size. It was supposed to be 48" x 72", and instead is 3" short both ways.

I wanted to love these mats and I do like them but

These mats are bad about moving. Seems I am always bent over pulling them back into place and I would have given them 5 stars if not for that. They really are

These mats are bad about moving. Seems I am always bent over pulling them back into place and I would have given them 5 stars if not for that. They really are very pretty and nice quality plus do not show where the three dogs track in and out of the house. The one worry I have is if all the dirt goes into the mats and you cannot shake it all out, what happens when you wash them in the washer? I have had to have my washer serviced once before after I washed rugs. The dupree clogged the drain and had to be cleaned and the service told me from now on to take them to the laundry mat instead of using my washer at home. That is one place I do not like to go plus it is an inconvience for me. I ordered the dog bed too so hope this work out better.

This rug is soft and seems to be very absorbant. However, our pyrnese seems to jump over it to get onto the steps. may try another one at the top of the stairs
