These are very durable. Dogs love them. The dogs have had these and have yet destroyed them. They light up but don't squeeze which makes it a peaceful fun toy. Hours of fun for the mallinois.
This ball is greatly loved, it holds up well to a dog that is good at destroying things, however the blink part of the ball lasted all but a day!
I am very disappointed with the Diamond Ball.. It arrived today and in LESS than 1 hour ONE of the purple Diamond windows fell out and Dog had chewed open the battery compartment.. We had one (the Rainbow) before that only lasted a few days.. I marked that on up to perhaps a one in a thousand defects.. But NO... Diamond Balls ALL are built substandard and a waste of money.. Very disappointing for a pretty expensive dog toy.. Same dog has had several CHUCKIT Brand for a year or more and CHUCKIT FETCH MEDLEYS still are like new..
I’ve left this thing outside through rain, snow, unrelenting sun, and still, lights when thrown. The size and shape is a bit difficult for my cockers mouth, so he’s not crazy about it. But if nothing else is in the yard, he’ll play with it
We have several of these balls. Super bright and one of our dogs favorites.
Poor design. The clear inserts should've been a solid clear ball not individual clear inserts glued inside the black outer trim my 4 dogs were each very easily able to pop the popped the clear inserts out within minutes which posed a choking hazzard in my opinion. They were then able to completely destroy the rest of the ball.
I looked everywhere for this ball. Finally found it on Chewy. My dog loves it.
Our dog is very destructive chewing his toys, but this ball holds up He loves the lights in the ball, and has figured out how to reactivate the lights himself. We have already ordered backup ones in case he looses one.
Bought two, one each for our Golden Retrievers. Played with them the first evening. The balls were a hit with the dogs. The newness? The taste or texture? I don't know. Played with them the next evening, and while I was away from them for about 10 minutes I came back and the one ball was completely destroyed and the other had one of the colored panels broken. The construction is not a multi-colored ball within the black rubber; each color is a glued-in panel, like a stained glass window. They float, btw. The packaging tag says "not indestructible". That's for sure! The brand I bought was by HUG MY PET, but you can see this exact ball is sold under different names. Would not recommend, certainly not for large dogs. Maybe for small dogs.
Purchased the original 2 years ago as a gift for two rescue hounds (55-60 lbs each). Ball is still intact and there still remains a slight glimmer of light when the hounds throw it around the house. I highly recommend this product!
