Very nice looking gate. Was a bit more than I’d hoped to spend. Upon set up, was a little worried about our medium breed dog being able to push or pull it open as it’s just free standing, but so far he hasn’t really tried that so it’s been an effective enough deterrent to keep him out of the dining room.

We're mostly happy with it

For us it will work fine, our dog is older and doesn't try to escape. The Freestanding feature is nice but slides on the tile and isn't very tall. It would not

We needed an aesthetically-pleasing gate to restrict our aging Bluetick coon hound to the kitchen and laundry room. While this gate is marketed toward small dogs, we have found that neither our hound nor our schnauzer-doodle challenge it. The opening that we put it in isn’t conducive to a wall-mounted solution or a compression gate, so we appreciate that this gate is light and easy to move out of the way.
