Boots does fine for a while them bam...crystals. He has been to vet so many times and they have tried and recommended so many things that I should own stock in some of those companies. They want to remove his penis but I said no lets keep trying. So here is what is working......so good for NOW......this in his Hills Urinary wet food for urinary and hair ball. Dry Iams, Dry Hill for urinary and hairballs. He has access in the dry all day along with his other two family members. Wet is served at breakfast with the tinkle tonic, extra water and a probiotic also sold here on chewy are all mixed in the wet cat food. I then add Urinary gold one dropper full and in their water fountain only Cat Water also both are sold on here. For now this is working. I may have to get a part time job and go back to work to pay for all of this (haha) but it is cheaper than a weekly vet visit and he is not peeing pure blood which has happened so many times that I bought a pet steam machine for the carpets. Also can buy that on here....so this recipe of things may sound like over kill but if you have had a cat with crystals you will go to the end of the earth to help them because they are in bad shape when it happens. And according to the vet they can not really figure out what causes it. ALSO it can be stress related and they sell a product on Honest Paws for cats that is a calming cbd product. This helps and I have a bottle of that when I notice he is showing signs of any stress. That does not happen often but having it on hand in fridge to keep it fresh helps.
