Tasty, Healthy, Balanced. More Solid Texture, FYI

Although I usually feed my dogs kibble with consistently well-balanced nutrients for seniors (with lower calcium and phosphorus especially), they love being treated to tastier wet food occasionally. This is the perfect food for that, and I don’t have to feel guilty about it, either! Nutrient macros are good, and the salmon protein is great for avoiding potential chicken and/or beef allergies. I’m also glad this isn’t grain-free, for my dogs’ hearts’ sake. Texture-wise, it’s a bit more solid than other options I’ve tried in the past, including other Natural Balance products like Platefulls which my dogs also can’t get enough of. (They get super excited for this wet food too!) However, this makes no impact due to my favorite serving method. See the attached photo: I scoop it from the can, pack it into a rubbery treat-dispensing chew toy, and freeze it. The food lasts much longer that way - sometimes up to half an hour versus half a minute if eaten straight from a bowl!

My dog loves this food but it does not love him

My 6-year-old Golden Retriever loves this food, but I can only give it 3 stars because it causes him to have an upset stomach. It is the Sensitive Skin and Stomach

My 6-year-old Golden Retriever loves this food, but I can only give it 3 stars because it causes him to have an upset stomach. It is the Sensitive Skin and Stomach Formula and does meet all the AAFCO guidelines for a complete food. My dog regularly eats another salmon based dog food with no issues, so I'm not sure what ingredient it is that isn't setting well with his sensitive tummy. The texture is a smooth pate with visible carrot chunks, and it must be tasty with the way my dog inhales it. The ingredients and taste are great, but perhaps not for all dogs suffering from stomach issues.

I have a girl who is very sensitive to protein sources, so this food definitely fit the bill! From the first crack of the lid, they were offering behavior in the hopes of getting a taste before dinner. (Of course I obliged...) Many fish based foods have an overwhelming odor, but not this Natural Balance food. It's a mild smell, but the dogs love it! I also like that it has whole vegetables (see pic) in it. All in all, I would definitely recommend this one.

My dog really likes the taste of this product. I like this product because it is formulated for dogs with a sensitive stomach and/or sensitive skin. I like that

My dog really likes the taste of this product. I like this product because it is formulated for dogs with a sensitive stomach and/or sensitive skin. I like that it contains salmon as one of the first ingredients. I also like that it has vegetables and is made without corn, wheat, or soy. It is also made without any artificial flavors or colors which is a bonus. The one thing I don't like is that this food contains chicken. Chicken can often be a trigger for dogs with sensitive stomachs and skin. Overall, I am happy with the product. My dog particularly likes it frozen in her enrichment toys.

My dog loved this food! In all fairness, my dog is not picky at all but he still got extra excited with this addition to his meals. The food itself has great ingredients and you can even see some of the veggies clearly in the food. The food also smells good like human food and not the typical stench of dog food. My dog has a very sensitive stomach and this did not upset his stomach at all which we were very happy about. For the quality of the food, the price point is great as well!

I’m really happy with this dog food! One of the biggest positives as a Shih Tzu owner is that it doesn't contain chicken, which is perfect since my sweet senior baby has extreme food sensitivities. She cannot have chicken and hasnt had luck with perscription foods. We are on week 1 and so far everything has been great for her. It’s made with healthy ingredients, which gives me peace of mind about what I'm feeding my senior girl. The paté texture is also a big win — it's easy for her to eat and digest. Overall, a great option for dogs with strict dietary needs or seniors who prefer softer food!

I have two dogs. My male eats just about anything, but my female is super picky and she easily gets stomach upset. Both of them love this food! It is in pate form

It is in pate form with a bit of broth and has an appealing smell. I mix it with their dry food, and since switching, their stools have been great and we haven’t had any digestive issues. Highly recommend!
