Poor Quality Yak Chews

I purchased the two pound bag and half of the chews came broken. Chewy sent a replacement free of charge and half of the chews in the replacement also came broken

I purchased the two pound bag and half of the chews came broken. Chewy sent a replacement free of charge and half of the chews in the replacement also came broken. You can clearly see cracks in the chews and they splinter very easily so my dogs bite off large chunks. We will not be buying this brand again.

Moldy :( Avoid

I should have read the reviews. This arrived smelling pretty woodsy, but I didn't see anything on the pieces, so I thought it was just weird packaging smell or something

Reeks of mold/mildew

First pack reeked of mold and mildew. Got a replacement and had the same issue this time with white powder all over the treats. I got my money back. I noticed

I noticed both packages I received did NOT have a silica pouch in them which means nothing can absorb any extra moisture that may occur during shipping. Which totally explains the mildew smell. Either way AVOID these.

Sami loves these and they keep her teeth clean.

But, if she eats as many as she wants, she gains weight! So we have to limit the number she can have in a week!

Moldy treats

My dogs liked these initially, but the unused treats got moldy very quickly and I had to toss the bag out. I had another unopened bag which also had to be tossed

Defective, and reeked of mold

Definitely was disappointed with this order. I usually buy these at the grocery store for my dogs from another brand and we go through so many chews that I wanted to love this big bag of them. My first batch came looking discolored and full of white spots. I opened the bag and was hit with an STRONG mold smell. Chewy sent me a replacement and it was from the same exact batch, and was also moldy (not as bad as the other bag as it didn’t have the discoloration yet but the smell was terrible). I have alerted chewy to the issue so that they can hopefully get these bad batches off their shelves so no dogs get fed moldy chews. They have great customer support and I was refunded though. Not sure if this was just a bad batch, but beware of these!
