My dog is allergic to almost all food except venison. And not just any venison dog food. It has to be limited ingredient, without or with as few grains as possible. Definitely no sweet potato (allergic to that too). The brand of venison wet food we normally buy is pricey (almost 3x as much as Logic brand) but it’s made right for him and he loves the taste. However, every year we face a crisis when the product goes out of stock. Which is the situation I currently find myself in. Enter my search for the next best thing and I find Logic. Limited ingredients. Mostly Venison. And no gross fillers like corn or soy or peas. I was so happy because of the price too! It arrived- and like others have said, it’s pretty dry. I did my best to mix it into my dogs venison kibble and eagerly waited for his reaction as he approached the bowl. He took a couple sniffs, poked his snout around, took a few bites and swallows, and then he sat down and looked up at me with a look that read, “Sis. Who you are you trying to fool with this nonsense? Get this gross-granola-concrete-mix-of-a-topper outta here!” And sooo…. I hope the staff at the dog shelter have room in the cabinet for the 11 cans of venison dog food I’m about to donate to them …
I have tried may food brands before . Ones recommended by the Vet Science Hill , others because it was made naturally as Spot and Tango that I decided to try because I really hate to feed my dog food that contains by products like Science Hill. Spot and Tango was great but my dog couldn't process the peas and carrots , so I decided to do a new search in the marked. No only Nature's Logic is a delish, it's made without canola or palm oil, another red flag that many dog food contains. My dog has solid poo consistent. I couln't be more happy with my decision of feeding my dog Nature's Logic. Also I'm so happy they have a variety of selection of protein choices from Sardines to Venison and salmon with duck ..... excellent in my opinion.
I’m sorry I got this food. I have to add liquid to get it out of the can. Napoleon will not eat it even if I mix it with something else. I wasted $60!! I’m not impressed. It sounded like a good purchase but it’s not.
I am feeding my 12 year old Nature's Logic Venison only because her regular brand is out of stock till 2023. She has a very sensitive stomach and this was the only other venison food she can tolerate so far. It is a VERY DRY food, but my pooch is eating it and her stools are soft, but not runny. I do like the ingredients.
This is the only food that I have had some success with to help my highly allergic Maltese. She is on a homemade elimination diet that consists of venison and squash only. Her pet nutritionist also added vitamins and minerals. She has been eating this diet for 5 months and was doing well. Unfortunately, she stopped eating because she was just plain tired of it. I researched for hours, days and weeks to find something I could add to her basic homemade diet to get her interested in eating again. Fingers crossed...this has helped for the past few weeks without additional allergy symptoms. JUST A WARING: I order the Natures Logic hard/kibble food and it does have chicken meal in it and she had a severe allergic reaction. The ingredients are different- even though it's the same brand Hope this review is helpful to a few people. I know that Payton has extreme allergies so this may not be beneficial to all.
My dog can’t have beef, chicken, turkey, or duck.. Thank god I finally found a good brand of food for my dog.. It’s one of the healthiest can wet foods I have found.. The only thing I would complain about it sometimes it’s very dry and sometimes it’s very wet.. Just wish it would stay between the two … Oh should add my dogs are very picky and they seem to like this and the rabbit so that’s a plus … Hopefully the price doesn’t go up too much more …
My dog absolutely loves the taste of the dog food. Unfortunately, he is allergic to fish and fish oil. I did not realize there was Herring Oil in it and so I have to discontinue. If you ever come out with a more limited ingredient version of this, I am definitely willing to consider it again.
The food was all water, and packed very tightly in the can . It wasn't very tasty and my dog would not eat it, I will have to donate it.
This brand was recommended by my vet. My dogs and I are not disappointed. I love the variety of flavors especially venison and rabbit. It’s hard to find good wet food with those flavors. I do wish they had Bison/Buffalo though.
Our dog has tried every flavor of nature's logic. Unfortunately, Venison is the only one that he refuses to eat! Our guess is that it was too dry for him, but that's just a guess.
