I have a dog that has many dietary restrictions. The ingredients for your broths indicate "dehydrated chicken broth", "dehydrated bone broth". Can you confirm there are no other ingredients added to the broth such as onion, other vegetables, added salt, etc.?

Answer by ChewyAug 11, 2021
The only ingredients in the broth are bone and water.

Is the sodium content just from the chicken or is there some added?

Answer by ChewyAug 25, 2020
The chicken bones to create the broth are cooked only in water. There are no other ingredients in Nature's Logic broth. This broth is a human edible dehydrated broth.

Good for my fur family

I have bought this directly from the company and used before for my 3 dogs, I make up a cup of it about every 3 weeks and use it as a broth over their food. Nutritious

Really helps entice eating

This really helped entice my 15 year old Shih Tzu to eat her food and not snoop around to make sure she wasn't missing cat food. It was nice to make sure she was keeping hydrated. I will continue to use this with my cats. Sometimes they get bored and this is a good thing to add in case they have decided that the food offered, is of no interest. Great and handy product to have around.

No go for my elderly cat

I’ve been trying to find different options for my 25 yr old cat. It has to be wet food, as her stomach won’t tolerate dry. This was a no in her book

Great!

All my animals love this stuff. I sprinkle some on dry for my little schnauzer, and I wet the food of my pitsky and cats. Everyone is happy!

Great alternative to liquid broth

I got this to make broth ice cubes as a treat for my dogs and it works great. As a note, frozen treats are not good for every dog and I have heard if dogs eat them

I got this to make broth ice cubes as a treat for my dogs and it works great. As a note, frozen treats are not good for every dog and I have heard if dogs eat them too fast it can cause bloat. I have little dogs that slowly chew up the ice. Make sure to talk to your vet before offering a new type of treat.

Cats liked it when I first gave it to them. Next time, they would not touch it.

Cats would not eat/drink it. They just walked away.

Our 9 year old very finicky and overweight cat wanted to eat every few hours. She acted like she was starving all of the time but only ate small amounts about 5 times a day. She wouldn't touch the expensive diet food prescribed by our Vet. After doing a lot of research I followed the advice of several vets and decided to try a raw food diet. Purchased a bag of freeze dried raw cat food and a jar of this topper. Started 4 weeks ago with small amounts of freeze dried food mixed in 1/4 cup of liquid bone broth along with her regular food. She is now happily eating only two meals a day. She is off all commercial cat food, no longer boated, slowly loosing weight and loves her new food. Because she always loved her food saucy using the bone broth to rehydrate the freeze dried made all of the difference.
