Chicken meal is a high quality concentrated protein source that contains muscle meat. Meal is made by grinding the protein after it has been rendered (cooked in a stew-like way but at high temperatures) and then dried so it'll contain a higher protein content and low moisture which helps provide the pet with the most nutritional value in the food.

Out of all the other brands, this had the best ingredients. I spent about 3hrs researching every ingredient in every brand and didn't like what I was seeing or the long & short term effects of those ingredients. It's honestly crazy that brands even willingly put harmful ingredients in their food. I came across this brand and I am very satisfied with the listed ingredients. I do wish there was a diet option (I unfortunately have a chonker who needs to lose 6lbs, lol). Other than that, I recommend this brand to anyone who actually cares about what they feed their pets and doesn't just buy whatever they've seen advertised.

He ate around it and then refused to eat it all day long Very disappointed with his purchase. And people had said Chewy offered great options. I guess they were wrong

Not a hit at all

I bought the chicken and the rabbit flavors - both were a massive flop! I have 10 cats - 4 resident and 6 foster - NONE of them will eat this. I am beyond disappointed

I bought the chicken and the rabbit flavors - both were a massive flop! I have 10 cats - 4 resident and 6 foster - NONE of them will eat this. I am beyond disappointed in this food as I thought it was going to be high quality and they would all flock to it. Now I am sitting here with 4 bags of wasted food. I guess I'll see if the possums or skunks will like it outdoors.

Nature’s Logic has good ingredients for felines. My girls love this, but it is a higher-calorie food and I need to watch that in their case. It’d be great for cats who don’t have weight considerations if the flavor appeals. Ultimately, I’d much rather have the quality ingredients and higher calories than lower calories with undesirable ingredients. They just get less of this when they get it. It’s great a company is looking after feline health with ideal and thoughtful recipes.

Received the product in a timely matter, seemed to be packaged well and art work was fine. Made sure I choose basically the same flavor my cat was used to. Unfortunately my cat smelled the food and would not even try it. Tried four different times with the same results. Not wanting to waist the food I gave it to my daughter that has two cat's. I am sorry to say they would not eat it as well. Photos of rejection was not what you want so I took none. My cat was a gray Tabby. Not sure of my daughters cats are but one was all black.

Then what is worse is that my 2 1 year old kittens who eat even regurgitated food from others would not eat this food. I had to throw out the last 8 lbs since no one would eat it. It gets 2 stars because the food looked and smelled like what I expected.

I purchased this for my cat to try something new and for convenience because it could just be delivered with something else I needed to order, also it is a good price. Unfortunately, my cat won't eat it. This isn't the first time we've tried a new dry cat food with him. He's had 3 I believe and never had an issue transitioning him, so he's not a fussy cat. He took no issue with the others but this one he won't touch unless I mix it with soft cat food. It's only been a couple days but usually he eats his food right off... especially first thing in the morning, But with this he won't touch it. If he won't eat without soft food it's gonna cost me a fair amount extra to get him through the bag as I'll have to continue purchasing additional soft food to get him to eat it. Not sure what it is he doesn't like about it but it's definitely not his favorite :-)

Unfortunately my two cats, one of which will eat just about anything, do not seem interested in food. I like it based on the ingredients and the lack of a strong smell. Based on what appears to be high quality ingredients, I would love to purchase this in the future but can't justify spending money on food my cats are not very excited about. As to not waste it, I have mixed it in with some other dry food that they prefer.
