Quality kibble for a reasonable price

I switched my 35-lb doodle to Nature's Recipe two years ago and am very happy that she continues to like the taste and that she is doing so well (health-wise) on

I switched my 35-lb doodle to Nature's Recipe two years ago and am very happy that she continues to like the taste and that she is doing so well (health-wise) on this kibble. I don't know that I can definitely say that it has helped her to maintain her weight because she is the type of dog that doesn't eat much - I give her 1.5 scoops of kibble each day with treats of raw veggies and plain yogurt throughout the day and she has maintained her normal weight at 34/35lbs since she's been eating Nature's Recipe. The biggest improvement I noticed once taking her off of Hill's Science Diet and feeding her Nature's Recipe is that her ears are no longer yeasty/getting inflamed and her digestion and elimination are now normal/healthy. These were chronic problems when she was eating other kibble. I have been mixing this version of Nature's Recipe with Nature's Recipe Grain-Free Chicken, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food because I wanted to ensure that she was getting enough protein and a variety of foods/nutrients. So far, so good!

Hi, we’re Millie (the pit bull terrier) and Stella (the dachshund/Aussie mix), and we give this food four paws up! 🐾🐾 The bite size is just right for Stella’s little mouth, but still crunchy enough for me, Millie. Sometimes Mom mixes it with chicken and rice (yum!), but honestly, we love it just as it is. The taste is pawsitively delicious, and Mom says it’s natural and easy on her wallet, which makes her happy too. If you’re a pup reading this over your human’s shoulder, tell them to hit “add to cart.” You’ll thank us later! 🦴💛

My Bandit is a bit picky, so I was pleased to see that this familiar brand made him happy. I appreciate clear statements about the food’s contents: whole grains; no corn, wheat, or soy; no byproducts or artificial ingredients. While you should always check new foods with your vet first, this food meets AAFCO standards and ingredients are clearly stated in case of allergies. Daily feeding guidelines are printed on the bag, but your vet knows your dog’s condition and needs. Bandit loves this kibble. That works for me!

My dog was so excited to taste this dog food that she knocked pieces right out of the bowl. She’s been eating this every day for a week with no issues. I’m happy because the first ingredient in Nature’s Recipe is chicken. My dog, a black Lab, wasn’t too excited about her regular food. Now she heads straight to her bowl and waits for it to be filled. This is terrific. No crumbs are ever left behind. Nature’s Recipe for the win!

I have 1 of the 13 picky Labs that live in the US. My dog is super choosy with his food, treats, everything! However, as he is a rescue that had a rough start, I always acquiesce to his every desire. However, I Think I finally found something that he won’t turn his snout up at. He really likes this food! Not to sound like that commercial – but he loves the taste, and I love the fact that it’s good for him. A definite hit! The other day, he was licking his empty bowl, hoping for more. Nature's Recipe is a very good food. Our Manchester likes it to the point when offered his old food he chooses NR! It was quite a surprise! His stools are very well formed and no noticeable gas issues. The size of the kibble is small enough for him to manage (he is a toy #12 lbs.) but large enough for a larger dog. I add nothing to his food (which is nice) Just NR as it is. I felt NR with Chicken, barley, brown rice recipe deserved a 5 star rating as it performed excellent.
