One of my dogs has separation anxiety and doesn't always like to eat when I'm away on a trip. I utilized this product as a food topper for my dogs. I like the packaging because it can be easily divided between both dogs per meal, and my cat can lick the container. Both dogs ate the toppers with no fuss, so I can assume they liked the taste! As an owner, I liked the ingredients and felt comfortable feeding it to my fur babies, so I would definitely recommend it to other owners! We will be getting this product again for future trips!

Since I am very cautious about introducing new foods to my pups' diet, I slowly added Nature's Recipe to his meals as instructed. I started giving him small amounts of Nature's Recipe in place of his normal pate. It was obvious he liked it and was looking for more as he cleaned the bowl and then licked the floor around it. I am also happy to report that there have been no adverse digestive issues with the introduction of this new food. When I initially opened the packet, I was surprised by how appetizing it looked. It had bits of sweet potatoes, green beans, and shredded chicken in a gravy like sauce. The feeding instructions state to provide 2-3 cups per 5 pounds of body weight daily. Since I have a larger dog, I was able to use this as a wonderful topper for his kibble. As a side note, these convenient trays were ideal for a short camping trip we had planned, eliminating the need to pack large heavy cans while still providing something that my pup would enjoy.

My dog loves this wet food. And she’s a very picky eater. It looks just like home cooked stew. Everything about think food is great except I did get confused on the feeding instructions. It says “2 -3 of these for every 5 lbs.”For my dog, it would be 26 or 39 packets a day for 65lb dog. Seems like a lot. But maybe I’m doing the math wrong. I served it to her has a topper at first to ensure her tummy would be ok with it instead of changing 100% of her food at once. So far, so good. She enjoys eating it and it hasn’t caused any issues.

I recently tried Nature’s Recipe Chicken & Beef Recipe in Savory Broth for my dog. The first thing I noticed was the smell—it’s pretty strong, kind of like chicken noodle soup simmering on the stove. It’s not unpleasant, just definitely noticeable when you open the container. My dog seemed to really enjoy it and ate it right away without hesitation. The texture looks hearty, with pieces of meat in broth, which makes it appealing compared to some other wet foods. The only downside is the portion size. It feels on the smaller side, especially if you have a medium or large breed that eats more. It works fine as a topper over kibble, but by itself, it wouldn’t be enough for a full meal for a bigger dog. Overall, I’d say it’s a flavorful and appetizing option that my dog liked, but I wish the serving size was a bit larger.

It even smells good!

When it was opened it actually smelled good, like roasted chicken. Some of the juice spilled out when pulling back the lid but it was quickly licked up by the dog

When it was opened it actually smelled good, like roasted chicken. Some of the juice spilled out when pulling back the lid but it was quickly licked up by the dog. He also licked the container clean. Since he seemed to love the food we used it as a topper on his dry food which he is sometimes picky about eating. This product is certainly a keeper.

My 12 yo dog Susie loved the taste! Susie usually approaches any new food with trepidation--suspisciously sniffs, and then cautiously licks to taste. But with Nature's Chicken and Beef Recipe she immediately scoffed it all up. I used it as a topper with her dry food since she is a 60 lb dog. The directions call for 2 to 3 of the tubs (2.75 oz) per 5 lb -- so this is more suited for small dogs, or as a food topper/supplement for larger dogs.

My dog absolutely loves this Nature’s Recipe chicken wet food! The real chicken is obvious (you can see the shreds), and the savory broth makes it extra tasty. It mixes well with his dry food, and I’ve noticed less mess in his bowl. His coat looks glossier, and his tummy has been happy ever since we switched. A bit pricey for the portion size, but definitely worth it for a healthy, natural option.

My dog (Turvian) loved the food. Itsmells just liked canned chicken you buy in the store. Lots of juice that coats the dry food. He salivates when opening the package on the counter. It's good treat for him since he has a sensitive stomach. It has not caused any issues. Will order again.
