They would wait by the container they were kept in until i dispensed one to each and they licked up every drop.

Almost Made a Mistake

Nature’s Recipe is a wholesome dog food with healthy ingredients that any dog owner should feel good about feeding their pup. Unfortunately my otherwise healthy

Nature’s Recipe is a wholesome dog food with healthy ingredients that any dog owner should feel good about feeding their pup. Unfortunately my otherwise healthy 12 year old pup was diagnosed with pancreatitis two years ago. She’s had one relapse since then, so is now on a strict prescription diet dog food which has a low protein and fat content. I thought Nature’s Recipe chicken with brown rice in broth might be a good alternative to add some variety to her diet. Upon close inspection of the ‘guaranteed analysis’, this recipe has 7% more protein and more fat than her current diet dog food. This would be a healthy lower fat dog food for most any dog but not for one prone to pancreatitis. Please carefully check ingredients and analysis of food you feed your pet. I’ll be donating my shipment of chicken with brown rice to my local humane society who will be happy to accept a nutritious donation.

My big boy eats 2 cups of kibble 2x a day and I’ve been on the hunt for a topper to help make things more tasty. I love that these come in little individual containers, it keeps it fresh every time. Previous brands I’ve used a can which you get 3/4 servings but then that can is in the fridge and not fresh the rest of the time and he is never as interested as the first serving. So these packs keep him loving every meal!! It’s natural ingredients which I love!! They come in a variety of flavors and come in a variety pack which Rocco is very happy about!! It also has vitamins and minerals which is an added bonus.

The containets are a little bit small for large dogs (50-80 lbs), but they did love the food. It has soft shredded chicken, mushed rice, and lots of water for good

The tab to pull the plastic lid off is a little small, so if you have a hard time grabbing small pieces, this might not be the product for you. Overall, no strong smell. The dogs loved it. Would buy again.

I got a 12 pack of 2.75 ounce cups. This looks like real chicken in a light, gravy sauce. The first ingredients are chicken and chicken broth follower by vegetables. It is AAFCO compliant. As soon as I opened the package, I had my dog's full attention. I put the contents of one 2.75 ounce package on top of her kibble and she ate it all, chicken and dry kibble! She is a picky eater, so I was very happy to see this. I feel this is a very healthy food option for dogs. It works great as a topper in conjunction with kibble for my 40 lb dog, but would not be affordable if used for her entire meal.

My mini dachshund, Mabel LOVES this Nature's Recipe Chicken and Brown Rice wet dog food. She wouldn't stop eating it until she licked the bowl clean. I tried to get her attention for a photo, but the only time she looked up was when there was nothing left and she gave me that "More, please" look! The packaging is the perfect size, easy to peel open and serve. Ingredients are natural and I feel comfortable feeding this to my pup. This Nature's Recipe wet dog food would be great to use as a topper for dry food. I also plan to make frozen pupsicles with this to use as a special treat.

I tried this food for my medium sized (30 pound) dog who is a picky eater. She loves it. I only use it mixed in with dry food as 1 tray is the right amount to use

I tried this food for my medium sized (30 pound) dog who is a picky eater. She loves it. I only use it mixed in with dry food as 1 tray is the right amount to use as topper for her. I like that it is shredded and that there is not too much liquid so it is easy to mix into the dry food. It looks like shredded chicken with a few carrots and a little rice.
