Roughly a 2 years ago we switched my family dogs to Nature's Recipe grain free dog food and have loved the result. Fast forward to now my boyfriends dog has been showing signs of food allergies, I suggested buying some Nature's Recipe grain free food to try and solve the allergies that he has been struggling with. He has been eating it for less than a month and we are already seeing positive results. I couldn't be happier and he absolutely loves the taste. (we bought two different kinds, this one and the salmon recipe) Looking forward to seeing even more improvement over the next month. & we love the fast shipping right to our door!

  • Creative Changes

Our dog was started on Nature's Recipe before we received her from her foster home. She is a rescue and like most labs loves to eat. I don't know why the formula was changed. I am sure having big and little kibbles in the food may provide longer life of the product. Our dog loved all the items in the food, and although we are still feeding her the product, we are finding she is getting bored with the food. As a result, we are adding a variety of fresh green veggies so she will continue to eat. I am thinking we are going to purchase a sample size of a different flavor of Nature's Recipe and see how that helps with our dog's boredom.

  • Best dog food ever.

We cycled through a number of different dog foods trying to find one that our two-year-old chocolate lab would actually eat and didn’t give him tummy troubles. We bought this on a whim, lo and behold it was exactly what our pup needed. He gobbles up all his food and begs to be fed when his normal meal times roll around, something he never did with other food we had tried. His coat is shiny and healthy, he has boundless energy, and no more stomach issues. I completely recommend this dog food.

  • Great price, great ingredients...not great taste?

    By on

I ordered a 24lb bag of this food for my pup. She's not a picky eater, in fact she will scavenge the floor for food dropped by my kids, but she won't touch this food. The price was great, the ingredients were awesome, my dog just won't eat it. Now I'm stuck with 24 lbs of food!

  • Transitioned with bumps in the road

    By on

Our dog's food for the past few years was discontinued by Nature's Recipe & this 'flavor' was recommended in its place. We did the gradual transition with the food change by mixing with her old food, but our dog still vomited quite a few times. Now she's transitioned to it and has been fine. Thought it was ironic that the 'easy-to-digest' food didn't agree with her.

  • My dog loves this food!

I am so glad I stumbled upon this brand of dog food. My Great Dane is sensitive to grain (He breaks out in pimples around his mouth and his butt) and it's so hard to find a grain free, large breed specific dog food. It's more affordable and very good quality for the price. We have even switched our cats and our chihuahua mix to this brand of pet food. They all love it! I feed the Chihuahua mix the small breed formula in this flavor, and the cats the grain free chicken and potato formula.

  • well my mastiff Harley loves it

My boy has a very sensitive stomach I've tried many different things but this food mixed with taste of the wild food he seems to like very much. I was having to use firm up on his food to make his stool hard enough to pick up with doggie bags when we walk. I'm very satisfied with it.

  • Great product

    By on

This is one of the only bags of food our picky Newfie will eat. It seems to be really good for her belly too as she used to have stomach issues when we tried different brands. Before this brand she used to graze and eat throughout the day, now we cannot even put the bowl down without her digging right in.

  • Gone in 90 seconds

Sofie (Italian Mastiff) loves this food. She gets 1 and a 1/2 cups of food in the morning and the same in the evening. It takes 90 seconds for her to finish each meal. The last food we had for her she would take her time and not scoff it down like she does this one
