It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

What is the difference between a level 1 2 & 3 glucosamine?
Answer by • Feb 22, 2019
The Level 1 Glucosamine DS is recommended for young dogs and cats as a preventative measure to help maintain normal healthy cartilage and joint function prior to visible signs of joint care needs. The Level 2 is recommended for adult dogs and cats over the age of 12 weeks, including large breeds and overweight pets. Level 3 Soft Chew Dogs are recommended for dogs in need of advanced joint care, such as senior dogs, and those recovering from joint related surgery.
Does this have the same affect has the chewables? It says it’s the same level and brand. I have the chewables for my dog but he’s stop eating them.

I'll be trying this out on my senior age cat, that's had problems with artistic hips lately and want to give her comfort. She's very finicky when it comes to new meds and food. What's the easiest way to administer the liquid form?
Answer by • Feb 19, 2019
It would be easiest to administer the supplement directly to the mouth or to add to food.
It seem to help my cats but my dogs both got upset stomachs from this so we stopped using it

Easy to digest
My stubborn dog will not eat or take anything that will help him and being 140lbs he is hard to wrestle. This liquid supplement makes it easy for me to give to him , and helps with his hips. My only complaint, stinky farts

Liquid Gold!
I have an 11 y/o Australian shepherd who has poor hip conformation and in the past few years developed a pretty bad case of arthritis. We’d been on level 2 glucosamine tabs for a year and then I figured, this is rated higher anyway and costs the same amount, let’s try it! SO GLAD I DID!!! My dog can finally run and jump again without pain! Plus it’s so easy to administer, I just put it on his dry food and add some water from the sink and swirl it around, he laps it all up with his food and licks the bowl clean!! Never going back to the old stuff :)

Not what I thought I ordered
I thought I ordered the 180 chewables. We are going to try this but I would give a 5 star for the chewable.

Tastes terrible
My cat who eats everything would not go near this. We tried it mixed in wet food, on freeze dried food, and straight in a bowl. She wouldn’t have any of it. I tried it myself, it had a slightly malty, but mostly bitter flavor. Putting it in a syringe to force feed it to a cat already sore with age and arthritis is not an option in my mind.

Had to Discontinue
Soon after starting this supplement, my dogs had flatulence. I kept going, it’s a change and that can happen. Soft stool, kept going. Diarrhea with blood- discontinued. My dogs are not particularly sensitive- very rare to have any GI troubles.

Top 1000 Contibutor
Great product
Angel who is 14 her hind end gets stiff. I got some stuff for her at vet seemed to help some but she needed a higher dose and this has hyaluronic acid in it which is great. Will be buying again. I squirt directly into her mouth kinda has a stinky scent. Real improvement for angel she isn't stiff anymore and she takes a 20 minute walk each day.
