Can you use the replacement bowl scratchers in this bed or are there replacements for this bed?

The Necoichi Cozy Cat Scratcher Bowl Replacement Pads are intended for use with the Necoichi Cozy Scratcher Cat Bed and will not fit inside the Cat Head Scratcher Bed. At this time, replacement parts are not available for this bed.

What size cat in lbs. fits in the regular cat head bed & also same question for the large bed?

We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size.

The dimensions for this bed are read as length x width x height. The Regular measures 14.2 x 14.2 x 5.9 inches and the Large measures 17.7 x 17.7 x 5.9 inches.

I would like to add a soft base to this scratcher -what would you suggest?

The entire interior of the scratcher bed is designed for scratching so it is not recommended to cover it up.

both cats love this - not together sadly, but they both scratch and sit in it, and apricot particularly loves to lounge and get pet while grabbing the sides. her

Torn apart

I know this is meant to be scratched and bit cardboard material but for the price wow it lasted so short! my cat started biting off the edges n I just put a towel

Perfect, great wonderful. Both cats are using this to nest in after “VIGOROUSLY” using it to scratch around in. Have two cats so I will probably get another one. Very important to note, the sides of this scratcher are really reinforced and probably won’t break down as soon as the scratchers with lighter sides break down from a heavier cat nesting inside the scratcher bowl all day.

My cat quickly took to this scratcher and it is really nice looking too. The only downside was that, when she had to struggle a little to sit in it, I regretted not getting the larger size. She is a 13.5 lb large senior cat. She liked it so much, though, I bought it in the other size too! Now she has two! She’s very happy with them and so am I.

Slightly smaller than expected

I bought the regular size. I should have ordered the larger size. My cats are not huge...8 pounds, 10 pounds, and 11 pounds. None of them really fit in the regular

I bought the regular size. I should have ordered the larger size. My cats are not huge...8 pounds, 10 pounds, and 11 pounds. None of them really fit in the regular size comfortably. They occasionally sit in it, but nobody naps in it. They love cardboard scratchers and beds, but this one is just a bit too small. Otherwise, it's well made. Splurge for the larger size if you are going to buy it.
