The surface of the”Premium” Comfort Cat lounger was not what I expected. The whole thing is just repurposed packing material. When my cat when after it with her claws, shreds of packing material cardboard went flying everywhere. It won’t last a week and was way over priced.

Cats love this!

This scratcher scratches all the itches for 4 of our youngest. Scratching or lounging, there’s usually always one on this. It does require some vacuuming around

This scratcher scratches all the itches for 4 of our youngest. Scratching or lounging, there’s usually always one on this. It does require some vacuuming around it because it’s cardboard, but it took a couple months of constant use to start shredding. Even with daily use, it’s still in good condition a few months later. Perfect for those cats that prefer a horizontal surface to scratch, and a nice, rough spot to roll around on and lounge. They really enjoy a little cat nip on it. When they’re done, just turn it upside down and then a quick vacuum to clean up the area.

I cannot describe to you how much my cats love this. All six of them are obsessed despite their varying interests and preferences. They love scratching it but more than anything they love lounging on it. I’ve gotten these many times over the years and it’s always been worth every penny. I also really like that they have the wood siding. It makes it look really nice in the space, which is not always the case for cat furniture.

Necoichi cat scratcher

I had hoped this scratcher would be as good of quality as Pet Fusion scratchers since it had a similar look. While the cats liked it just fine, it was not the same

I had hoped this scratcher would be as good of quality as Pet Fusion scratchers since it had a similar look. While the cats liked it just fine, it was not the same quality. It was torn up with in a couple of months. I have a Pet Fusion I bought 10 yrs ago that is still usable and doesn't leave much cardboard on the floor. And best of all, my one cat who happens to be a cardboard addict, never chews on it, like he does all over. I will spend the money from now on and buy Pet Fusion--there is no comparable one on the market that I know of and I've tried many. They are pricey, but worth it. This a picture of my cats today (Oct 25, 2025) on a Pet Fusion I bought in 2015.

I've bought many different shapes and sizes of cardboard scratchers. My cats loved all of them, except this one. They've used flat scratchers, those shaped like

I've bought many different shapes and sizes of cardboard scratchers. My cats loved all of them, except this one. They've used flat scratchers, those shaped like an open box, one that was shaped like a boat, scratchers that were small, scratchers that were huge. They loved every single one, but they're not coming within an inch of this one. They walk around it. If you get super close, it has a slight smell of cardboard that most scratchers have. By the way, the description says the cardboard is super tight quality but it's normal. If you do buy one I'd recommend the large that's what I got. I think the smaller size would be too small.

Waste of money

Its been 1 week and this bed is getting close to going in the trash. I bought a similar product for half the price in another store and it lasted longer than this

What's happening to Quality Control?! This is a huge scatcher and seems sturdy, but at nearly $30 for a cardboard cat toy, I expected it to arrive in perfect condition

What's happening to Quality Control?! This is a huge scatcher and seems sturdy, but at nearly $30 for a cardboard cat toy, I expected it to arrive in perfect condition. It was all wrapped up so hadn't been damaged by Chewy nor FedEx, it had been delivered to the retailer that way. I believe that the manufacturer just wrapped it up and shipped it out with obvious cosmetic damage, as if no one would care. It functions fine, of course, but it's the principle of the matter. $30 is a lot of money to someone who lives on SSI retirement benefits. I've never paid so much for a cat scratcher before and certainly never will again! I just hope that Logan loves it.
