Elevated bowls

I was hesitant to buy but sick of cleaning up cat puke!! I got it and am SO thankful for it!! No more puking at all!! I have 3 cats upstairs, 2 11years old and 1 16. Ordered some for 2 younger downstairs cats. They don't puke but the elevated eating must feel better!!

Unexpected 'non-skid' rims

The set is as described, but for the non-skid bases, I'd expected a rubbery coating, not a flexible rim piece that usually comes off when I wash the bowl. Maybe this is intended to be better when using a dishwasher, but it takes some effort to get the thing back on the bowl's bottom rim. Wish the food bowl was a bit larger.

Cute but description is inaccurate

The food bowl holds half a cup without overflowing, not 1 cup as the description says. I can't use the water bowl because apparently my cat likes to flip it over and I'm scared he's going to break it. I would return them, but I threw out the box :(

Good for older cats, but food bowl too small

My older, arthritic cat loves the raised water dish. She's not a fan of the food bowl because it is fairly deep with a small opening and she likes wide shallow food dishes (so more just that I should have gotten the wide version than an issue with the product itself). So great, cute bowl set, just be aware that the food bowl is small-ish if you have a picky kitty like me.

My cat has not thrown up since getting her these elevated dish sets. Not sure why it makes such a difference but, it does! Thank goodness! Nice quality, heavy, non-slip rubber ring on the bottom. Love it.

Didn't work for my kittens

These are nice bowls and I love the pattern, but they were not a good fit for my kittens. They were able to knock the bowls over easily, spilling water and food everywhere. The design on the bottom of the water bowl tempted them to try to fish it out, which caused them to splash water everywhere. I'll save these bowls for when they are older and less likely to make a mess.

I thought an elevated water and food bowl would be good for my elderly cat Marv, but he seems to prefer the low, wide water and food bowls to the new one. They are nice looking and good quality, but Mr. Marvelous just won’t have them!

Great set of dishes

I bought 2 sets of the food and water bowls for my two furbabies. After reading of the benefits of using elevated bowls I decided to try these out. They are great. The only complaint I have is the rubber band on the bottom of the dishes are ill fitting and keep coming off. Other than that the bowls work well.

Very nice dishes - just not for my cat.

My cat eats dry food formulated for oral care and the pieces are on the larger size. Therefore, the food dish is way small for her food. In addition, she simply would not drink from the water dish. No way. Who can figure out cats’ finicky ways! The dishes are made and designed very well, but just didn’t work for my particular cat.
