How deep is the bowl in inches? My cats don't like to stick their faces down into deeper spaces. (Even a Chobani yogurt cup is too deep for them.)

Excellent bowl for my Chihuahua

I love this little bowl. I needed an elevated bowl for my Chihuahua who has trachea problems because of her heart disease. I was afraid she would be intimidated

I love this little bowl. I needed an elevated bowl for my Chihuahua who has trachea problems because of her heart disease. I was afraid she would be intimidated by it but she took to it right away. The rim around the bowl prevents food from being pushed out while she eats and the size is perfect for her. It is for little dogs who eat small portions. I wish the rubber gasket around the base were a permanent feature instead of the thin, separate attachment it is now. I don't use the attachment because it is inconvenient. I put the bowl on a mat so it does not slide around. It is an attractive, stable bowl for little dogs.

Super cute

My fur baby has neurological issues due to a stroke. Her motor skills including bending over to eat will cause her to Fall into her bowl. This fixes that.
