can it fit up front in the passenger seat?

I don't think so. It takes up two seats in the back of the car.

Is this stackable by chance?

The photos show a mesh top. So, am I correct that only if the cat tears a hole in the top could he or she jump out?

The top is made of the same material as the sides with mesh and litter box. This cage is built for cat transport but a determined cat may be able to escape

Does the litter box need a bag for easy cleaning and then it will be clean when folded and stored away?

This thing is a perfect little condo for long road trips with your fur baby! I only have one, so it leaves plenty of room for him to get comfy and rest even with the travel litter box inside. Its kind of complicated and cumbersome to fold and store though, and I wish there was a way to secure the litter box inside the carrier when we're on the road. As well as something to catch the litter my kitty will inevitably kick up trying to use it, so I won't have to worry about brushing litter out of his fur later

I had to drive my cat (who HATES traveling) in the car for 14 hours due to moving to a new state. I ordered this and it was a LIFE SAVER. he basically slept the

I had to drive my cat (who HATES traveling) in the car for 14 hours due to moving to a new state. I ordered this and it was a LIFE SAVER. he basically slept the entire ride outside of the occasional meow/cry. He is even using it inside the house now after the drive, which means it didn’t leave him totally traumatized lol. Was so easy to set up and to get my cat inside - and it normally takes 2 people to get him into a regular cat carrier (he refuses to get in). Couldn’t rave about this thing enough. He was very comfortable and felt safe during the long car trip.

Not Durable

My kittens managed to rip a hole in this and escape during a car journey. If you have cats that don't enjoy car rides, this one isn't going to hold up.

was able to keep cat and litter box contained for a 3 1/2 hour trip. Litter was a bit messy . Other than being angry for containment all was good.

I bought this to use to travel with a new kitten. Well designed, with travel mini litter box. Pad for the base and a carrying case. A bit of a challenge to fold

I bought this to use to travel with a new kitten. Well designed, with travel mini litter box. Pad for the base and a carrying case. A bit of a challenge to fold up but mostly because it is new and less flexible. Easy to clean. Our existing cat has claimed it and loves to hang out in it. Great for short term outdoor use!

I use this to catch and transport feral cats from my colony to the vet and their forever homes. It’s surprisingly strong material and it’s really well made. It is much less stressful than trapping them in a wire cage. I wouldn’t recommend this for tnr’ing new cats, but once the cats are used to you, this is the way to go. Gotten this a gifts for other crazy cat people. Can’t recommend it enough
