FedEx delivery is absolutely terrible. Always two or more days past delivery date. Crate is better than expected for the money. Assembly instructions are D-. Once

FedEx delivery is absolutely terrible. Always two or more days past delivery date. Crate is better than expected for the money. Assembly instructions are D-. Once assembled it seems fairly solid. We bought the grey for $200. Considering we were about to purchase a custom maple dog crate for $2,000. This is a no brainer. Even if serves for a secondary crate down the road. I purchased this for our 3 month your German shepherd pup. My wife said even though it’s not maple. We saved $1,800. Finally, I would recommend this as a great value. But I would request chewy deliver through anyone other than FedEx.

I received a completely different crate from the one I ordered. I ordered this one because it has the barn style door and the one I received doesn’t. It came in

I received a completely different crate from the one I ordered. I ordered this one because it has the barn style door and the one I received doesn’t. It came in a damaged box that looks to have been opened and taped back closed and the box was ripped all over the create is damaged in multiple spots. This being my first time buying from Chewy I’m not really happy with the experience.

This crate is a step up from the standard metal dog crate. My dog is 3 and still spends adequate time in his crate each day. He is typically not locked in, so we were looking for something to eliminate the swinging metal door. The barn door makes this crate a great choice since the closure is fixed to the crate and does not swing open. This crate is suitable for mature dogs and is likely not a good fit for puppies who are still in their chewing phase. The assembly instructions were a bit unclear, but the overall assembly did not take very long. The crate seems durable and is spacious. My dog is very happy with his new man cave and I am grateful to have a more elevated crate since it is stable and stylish.

Not that good some design flaws

80lb Labradoodle-first time locked in the kennel while I was in town running errands-indoor security camera shows him running to the front door when I got home-door was weak-he busted right thru-the bars on the kennel are not set deep in the material-when assembling-the metal screws for the barn door rail were short by about a 1/4”-had to get my drill out to deepen the screw holes in the main bar so I could attach the rail. Top arrived damaged. Good then I called Chewy-to discuss a replacement top-they just gave a total refund-Customer Service was great. Contacting the manufacturer to discuss the design flaws and weak material at critical points on the kennel. Hope that they respond instead of blowing me off.
