If you have never heard of brushtail, don't worry, your cats have...and they love it. This freeze dried cat food is a big hit with my two very finicky darlings. They are quite upset when l run out - even one day. It translates to less waste, peace of mind for me and a more balanced diet for my wonderful ones.

Cats Love it!

All my cats love this cat food. I actually use it as a meal topper over their can food. My cats clean their bowls if they have this mixed in.

My cat begs for it

This has become my cats favorite food. He gives me lots of love in return. He is also very healthy from eating it, besides a sleek, shiny coat, he has an abundance

We've been loyal buyers of the Brushtail freeze-dried food for many years and my cat loves it a lot. She never had any problems digesting it before and the vet never found any health issues in annual exams. However, recently she will vomit every time we fed her this, and a large portion of the food came out not digested. Frequent grooming, cat grass and hairball controls don't work. She stops vomiting right away when we switch to other food. I'm not sure if Meow changed their meat source or formula. The quality definitely has deteriorated. We are just very disappointed after buying it for so many years and have no choice but to switch products now.

What’s a brushtail?

Thought this was raw rabbit but was totally wrong! Nervous our IBD bit would have issues but he didn’t and loves it!

Unique Excellent Quality

I am thrilled to have this as a choice for a treat for my cats with severe allergies. At least I know I'm giving something to them that is of exceptional quality

Large bone fragments

One pellet consists primarily of bone fragments, 3-4 flat bone fragments measuring 1/4 of an inch in length. Some were sharp. Seems like bone may be the new “filler”

One of our cats is allergic to a lot of things, the result being eosinophilic granulomas around her mouth and chin, and other skin issues. She’s been on a prescription novel protein diet of rabbit almost her whole life, but has recently become disinterested in the wet and dry food. We talked in depth with our vet about alternatives, and they suggested kangaroo or alligator. Unfortunately, kangaroo isn’t available in California, and the novel protein alligator foods are a bit hard to get (often out of stock). I am aware that Brushtail Possums are a feral pest in NZ, (as are certain species of kangaroo/wallaby, for that matter), and we agreed this may be a good alternative to try. Well, success!! We have been trialing tiny amounts for the last week, and she LOVES it so much! I intend on increasing her amounts as I become certain there are no side effects. This appears to be consistently good quality ingredients, versatile as treats or meals, and goes a long way. For the content quality, it is worth the price, especially against other prescription diet costs!
