Is this human grade manuka?

Answer by ChewyFeb 23, 2025
The Manuka Honey is human grade and from one of the largest exporters of Manuka Honey in NZ. Manuka Honey is rich in vitamins, minerals, natural enzymes, antioxidants, and nutrients which support immunity and overall health. It can also help control allergy symptoms, skin issues and maintain a healthy weight.

Is this ok for cats?

Answer by ChewyMar 06, 2025
It is safe for cats to eat a small amount of honey, but we don't market our Woof Manuka honey Dog Treat for cats as they lack the enzyme to break down glucose and as honey is primarily made up of fructose and glucose, a cat’s digestive system simply isn’t designed to break down these sugars in large amounts.

Delicious!

Lira loves this honey. It gives her a burst of energy 10-15 mins after she gets it and for a 15 year old girl, she turns into a 2 year old for a while. Love it!

Woof manuka honey

I would love to say it did the trick but both dogs are still licking and scratching about the same as before the honey.

Honey for my Lucy Dog

Manuka Honey has many benefits for dogs as well as humans. Google it for all the benefits. I put this particular honey in a squeeze bottle for ease of use. It flows

Manuka Honey has many benefits for dogs as well as humans. Google it for all the benefits. I put this particular honey in a squeeze bottle for ease of use. It flows from the squeeze bottle as well as the container it comes in. It flows much better than store bought and is a little less in price from Chewy and can be auto shipped.

The quality of the product.

In two days I could tell that the Manukau honey was working and my dog’s coughing was going away. He was not having as many coughing spells. Now four weeks later

tasty

It's's a bit early to tell if the honey is helping with itchy issues, but it certainly inspires my picky dog to eat her food. I'm going to keep her on it and see

My chihuahua has coughing issues from time to time. Ordered this at another chihuahua owners recommendation. Since it’s human grade, I tried it myself before offering it to my dog. It tastes strongly of mint! My chi won’t even try it, just turns up his nose. I guess these bees must’ve visited a neighboring mint farm on occasion :(
