My Pomeranian and my American Staffordshire both enjoy playing with this toy. It keeps them engaged for about ten minutes because they work together to solve the puzzle. Sometimes I let one pup or the other have their own time with this toy as well. This works best if you supervise their play. My big girl can't get her powerful jaws around this toy so she is forced to nudge with her nose and use her paws. As for cleaning, I typically use a combination of baking soda and white vinegar mixed 50/50 with water. I put the baking soda in the treat holes and then pour in the vinegar mix and swish around. Then I rinse and let the ball air dry. We love this product!

The holes are too big for the treats. My dog was uninterested. Last purchase took five days to get to my house. No explanation really.
Great for medium to large dogs

My little dog, abby found this a bit large for her but she gave it a shot and she does like it , she got startled when it rolls back at her because even the small is a big size, but my cat (he loves treat balls) plays with it (this cat also fetches, so what does that tell you lol) i personally wish it had the screw open n close feature and that would make it perfecto!, but i do recomend it for medium sized puppers not small,, love it!!!
Good Treat Ball!

My last two dogs were not aggressive with toys like this buy my 11 month old Simon is so I could use the other treat balls I have used in the past. This one is good.
Holes are way too small

The holes are so small that even I couldn’t get the treats back out. The treats go in great but getting them out was impossible.
Food Comes Out Almost Immediately Due to Size of Holes

Our Pup enjoys this ball but the size of her kibble/treats is small (she is small) so it flies out almost immediately and the fun is over. HA Fun item but you have to hand fill it as well.
My mini wiener loves this ball!

My mini dachshund Atticus loves this toy! He’s very food movitaved and is really into toys that despence treats. He’s also good at chewing them apart, breaking them, or getting them wedged under the furniture and then begging for them to be pulled out just to have it get trapped again. I don’t have to worry about any of that with the Nina Ottosson dispensing ball.
It has two holes that you drop the food or treats in and it doesn’t require you to open it in order to place the food in it. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about not being able to open it but this is actually nice because the ball is more secure that way and he doesn’t have a way to bust it open or chew it to pieces. I’ve put treats in it that are small enough to fit through the holes and won’t get trapped in the ball forever so that it keeps his interest. It’s very lightweight and I’m glad I got the large size because it holds a lot and doesn’t get stuck under the couch or coffee table.… more

I had assumed this toy would come apart so treats could be loaded inside, but it does not. You have to put treats in through the little holes and get them back out again the same way. Very frustrating poor design that is % user-friendly. The hard plastic is also noisy against hardwood and tile floors and my puppy runs from it.

My two Dalmatians roll these balls over the house until they are completely empty! The two larger holes accommodate a variety of sizes for treats and kibble. Fun!
