Due to Nordic Naturals's purification process, all of the naturally occurring Vitamin D has been purified out of this product. There is a small amount of Vitamin A that is less then 10% of the DV of Vitamin A per day for dogs.

Our dog was a rescue with demodex mange and a compromised immune system, MRSA. We took her to a dermatologist (for animals) he suggested giving her cod liver oil. She was 2 when we got her. She is now 8, and just had TPLO surgery on her knee. The vet who did the surgery said the best thing for her joints is cod liver oil, which we have been giving her since she was 2.
