Overall this is a great bird feeder for its fair price and ease of setup. There's a built-in level (the yellow piece in the picture) that is super helpful for setting it up to be even and not tilted. The only minor difficulty is with getting the perch bar to lock in. Once it was ready, birds showed up within 1-2 days. They are loving it. My cat likes to watch them.
Neat feeder, attracted some small finches and they were really enjoying it. Unfortunately one of the suction cups came loose after a few days and the whole thing fell, now it is broken and can’t be used.
I love this feeder! It is quite large, with enough space for several birds to feed at once. It is really sturdy and once attached to the window, does not move. I really like the bubble plumb attachment so that I can be sure that it is level.
It is a nice feeder but it broke already
The bird feeders height does not accompany bigger birds such as Cardinals only smaller sparrows can get to the feed. the perch is supposed to lock in the seed tray but it does not. I wanted Cardinals at my window but did not know they're too big to get into the feeder because of the hood on it I will be looking for maybe an A-frame style feeder.
No matter what I did, I could not get the suction cups to stick to the glass. I was really looking forward to watching my kitties go crazy over the birds.
Birds seem to have used it, but I haven’t seen it yet. I can tell by the open seed shells and feed in the water. I’m not able to attach the perch because when it arrived, the little edges that hold it in place were snapped off in the box when it arrived.
Took a couple weeks for the neighborhood birds to find it. I knocked off a star because I am not sure what the plastic bar is used for. The birds tend to sit right on the edge of the food tray instead and have never used the bar. I’ve followed instructions on set up.
This feeder has been perfect to entertain my indoor cat. The squirrels and birds jump right in, providing much appreciated food for them and excitement for my cat. My only issue, is that the brightly colored level is completely unnecessary and is a detriment to the clear aesthetic.
After being in place for more than two months, not one bird has visited this feeder. It’s filled with the same safflower seed that the birds go to town on in other feeders, but they won’t touch this one. On a positive note, the feeder’s suction cups are still stuck fast and it’s done an excellent job of keeping the seed protected from wind and rain. If you’ve had luck with window feeders before, this one is worth a go. My neighborhood birds are apparently wary.
