Is this product flavored? My cat suffers from food allergies and, therefore, she cannot have poultry/fish/etc. flavored items.

This powder does not have any flavoring. The only ingredient is L-Lysine Hydrochloride, it does not contain any inactive ingredients.
How should I feed this to my 7 month old kitten? Mix it with food or dilute it?

This supplement can be given during or after mealtime. For cats 6 months or older: Feed 1/8 teaspoon twice weekly. For kittens under 6 months: Feed 1/16 teaspoon twice weekly.
Being that made in the usa now often means packaged in the usa, from what country are the ingredients?

Terrific supplement

I use a 1/4 teaspoon and put only half of that in to make the 1/8 teaspoon twice daily. I mix it with my Baby's wet food and water. She doesn't know it's there, or she's pretending not to know, she eats it all. I mix it really well though, perhaps people not having luck should try a bit more mixing... I will buy this again when we run out, her mood has improved and her coat is shiny and she's not doing her normal hotspot biting anymore either (she was a shelter rescue and came with her own sweet but sad little issues).

Great Product

At a great price, was recommended by my cat's vet to help his immune system with the Feline Herpes Virus he acquired while in the animal shelter I adopted him from. Seems to be working when nothing else did.

check with your vet first

While this product has pure l lysine in it and that is a good thing.It was formulated by the companies vet.The dosage is extremely low .Certain cats need a stronger dose .What ever dose your vet recommends go by that .

Cats did not like.

I like the idea of giving pure lysine without any other ingredients. Both cats would not finish their food when this is mixed in. Will try another brand.

Healthy Kittens

I’m fostering again. Think 11 sneezing, runny noses and sets of watery eyes. Vet recommended L-Lysine as immune support. Success! It barely took a week and mixing it in their food made dosing easy. Just do what vet tells you.

My disappointment

I purchased this product thinking it would do her good, but unfortunately my newly adopted cat did not like it. I think at the rescue place they had it in their food everyday and she just would not eat for me until I decided to just give her food without it, and she finally started eating. I was more disappointed than her.

Great, afordable and practical

Great way to get L-lysine into my cat. Low cost and no mess. I work at a vet clinic and the product we sell for this is exspensive, messy and stinky. This is so easy i can mix it in wet food or my cat will drink it when in a small amount of water.

Harpies' virus

Due to supply shortage to the L-Lysine I had to change Henry's medication for his harpies'. With a lot of thoughts as to which I should purchase I have decided to get NOW Pets L-Lysine. Henry is not an easy cat to make changes to medications. The product label said that this would disappear without any flavor was the reason I decided to try it. I was amazed as to how fast the powder melted when I mixed it in his wet food. It works so much better to keep the virus under control. It also has changed his fur to a fluffy and brighter black and white. I totally recommend this product because of the changes in Henry. He has been on L-Lysine for at least 15 years.

cats don’t even notice it!

This is the best lysine supplement I’ve found that my kitties can’t detect! I just sprinkle over their wet food in the morning & they eat it without argument. Love it!
