Finn is 18 years 8 months old. He started last year off and on blood in his stool. Over the fall I noticed blood everyday. Off to the Vet we went, probiotic prescription gotten. (For an old cat with lots of old man problems he's doing really well). The probiotic the Vet gave us was very expensive (we had to give it 3 times a day)so I started looking for something less expensive but still provide the product that was they best for him. We've been using this for 2 weeks and the old man is doing great on it, no blood for several day

Happy so Far

Our male orange cat, Agent Orange, became sick in March 2025. He was not eating and vomiting bile. It started over the weekend, of course. We finally got him into his vet that week and the vet took x-rays, which seemed to show an obstruction near the base of his stomach. When they did surgery the next day, they found the organ that is a cat version of an appendix was inflamed and impacted. They were able to flush that and didn’t have to open his stomach as was initially expected. The vet said over the past 3 years they’ve had 2 cats, including our boy, and one dog that had the same issue. The initial cat actually came in a year to the day for the same problem again. Our ver said the initial cat owner began giving the cat a fiber supplement and there hadn’t been a recurrence since. My husband did a thorough search and found this probiotic which was the only one he found with fiber included. We’ve been adding it to Agent’s food since late March and he now only eats his food if the probiotic is added. He’s back to his happy and healthy self and we hope he remains so for the rest of his years.

Not working

Pearl will eat it mixed in with her canned but jade and opal wouldn't. Also, it hasn't helped the diarrhea problem. This is the 2nd probiotic I've tried for

I purchased this for one of my cats bc he has bad digestive issues. Since he was a few months old, he regurgitates his meals about once or twice a week. I've tried everything for him with sensitive stomach food, slippery elm bark, etc. but they didn't really help. This seems to help somewhat. Not as much as I'd like but it's good for him. I also give it to my other cat. What I wanted to explain is that it's a powder to be added to their food. It doesn't come with a scoop so I took one I had from an immune support powder I bought and sprinkle a scoop onto their canned food with that. This powder, when added to cat foods that have bits of meat with gravy, upon adding it, immediately turns the gravy into a very watery substance. Doesn't matter what brand the food is. It just turns the gravy to water. They don't seem to mind much but I don't care for that. So, to solve that problem I started getting some pate' instead. I sprinkle it on top and sort of mash it down into the food. It doesn't change the consistency of the pate' in any way and doesn't seem to affect the taste of the food for them.

No odor I could notice but guess Cooper could

My Cooper needs probiotics but another brand has bite the dust. He refuses to eat if I put it in his food. I give up. I’ve practically tried almost ever brand Chewy

It helped my cat to stop the diarrhea.

It helped my cat to stop the diarrhea. Only give a tiny bit to my cat when diarrhea. Not sure about the constipation, but definitely worked for diarrhea.
