The caution statements included on this product are associated with Licorice Root consumed in excessive amounts (up to 250 grams of licorice root per day), which is more than 10,000 times the amount found in a serving of Nulo Immune Chews (25 milligrams).

The Natural Flavor used in these dog chews is a combination of natural bacon flavor and natural hickory smoke flavor, combined into a single listing of "natural flavor" for those products. Huge Improvement in just 3 Days

I adopted a Great Dane from Oregon to Las Vegas in the middle of winter. As soon as spring hit she was a right mess. Spots all over her legs and tummy, licking her paws constantly, huge eye-socket filling bright green goobies. I started her on these and within just the first 3 days I saw massive improvements. It started with her eyes - the goobies got smaller and less icky, I started having to only clean them out first thing in the morning instead of pretty much every time she got up from a nap. Then she stopped licking her paws and by the end of the first week the spots were completely gone. She loves them too. She thinks they're her special treat (and the other Danes are so jealous because they don't get/need them). My only complaint and the reason for not giving 5 stars is I wish there was a version formulated for giant breeds because I have to give her 4 per day so I go through them SO FAST. That and I tried giving 1/day to my MinPin who also has seasonal allergies but she got much much worse so I had to stop. They're just not the right formula for her but I'm still going to keep using them for my Dane for sure and would definitely recommend them to others.

Effective for mild seasonal alergies

In early spring, when my standard poodle started to scratch way more than I considered normal, I gave this a try at the suggestion of a Pet Food Express employee

In early spring, when my standard poodle started to scratch way more than I considered normal, I gave this a try at the suggestion of a Pet Food Express employee. It worked very well for a month or two, until the pollen really took off. My vet suggested I try apoquel, and 1 16-mg tablet per day did the trick. Now I start him on this alone when he first gets itchy in roughly March, add the apoquel from May through August, then back to the Immune Chew alone through about October. Works like a charm.
