Transition Instructions
When first introducing your pet to Nulo, we recommend slowly transitioning over the course of 5 to 7 days to reduce the risk of digestive upset that can occur with a rapid change in diet. We recommend portioning 25% of the new food on the first day mixed with 75% of the former food. Over the course of several days, gradually increase this ratio until you are feeding 100% of the new food. This will allow your pet's digestive system time to adjust to any new ingredients and will help to ensure a smooth transition. Mixing up proteins can be a great way to provide variety to your pet's diet. Once your pet has transitioned to the Nulo platform, rotating between recipes is generally seamless!
These protein-rich diets have industry-leading meat levels and are lower in carbs to promote lean muscle mass. 100% complete and balanced for all feline life stages, these savory wet canned recipes are made without carrageenan, corn, wheat, soy or artificial preservatives, colors or flavors.
Raising the Bar on What’s in Their Bowl
From their careful selection of ingredients—like protein-rich turkey, lamb, salmon, chicken, beef and duck—to low-glycemic carb source choices like lentils, chickpeas, barley, oat, millet and sweet potatoes, Nulo approaches pet food the way they approach everything: no shortcuts allowed.

we just started our educational journey on cat foods. we were feeding them Science Hill (dry) and Frisky (wet, 2x/week). we switched over to Stella & chewy raw with nulo for wet. our 2 cats wont eat this wet food. Not even my boy who is overweight and loves to eat. I am not saying this is a bad food though. my girl didnt eat the wellness wet food either and will still eat her frisky. I'm sure the food is nutritionally amazing but like humans, our cats clearly prefer the junk food

New Consistency = Sick Cats
We have been loyal to Nulo for years. Last year, we noticed the two other 12.5 oz cans changed their consistency and our cats were not doing well with the food... (diahrrea) We stuck with Salmon and Mackerel because it was the most consistent... until recently. Now, its very liquidy, just like the other two flavors. Whatever changes are taking place, something is off and it's affecting my cats. I'm very disappointed that these changes have happened because its not easy to switch food for 5 cats. One of my cats ended up with bloody diahrrea. So, sadly, after many years, we must now find a new food. This food is not cheap. It should be consistent, not nasty mush. Very disappointed.

All four of my cats now have horrible diarrhea
I switched to Nulo recently and tried a variety pack and all of my cats loved the flavors. The variety pack only comes in smaller kitten sized cans so I got this flavor which has very similar ingredients to the small cans. EVERYONE is sick now. Bad diarrhea and throwing up. All 6 litter boxes that I had just bleached and put new litter in are only going to last the week after all the mess inside. Normally I can feed my kitties different flavors within the same brand without any issues. And when I initially switched over to Nulo no one got sick even though I didnt wean them off the old food properly. I dont know why cat food companies cant offer a consistent product. Everytime I find a food they like eventually theyll get a bad batch. Its not right. This stuff is sooooo expensive. Im really upset.

Cat and kitten loves it
The ingredients list is simple. The 12 oz can is cheaper and with 2 cats, it goes a long way. I thaw it with hot water and it works well and it doesn't look like a suspicious goop.

Good ingredients
My cats seem to like Nulo Mackerel & Salmon, but do get bored quickly too. Overall, I think it has good ingredients, though I wish it didn't have Agar-Agar. Love the 12.5oz cans!

Low Glycemic, and my cats like it
One of my cats is diabetic, so my vet recommended a low-glycemic diet for them.
I tried several Tiki Cat varieties, which they seemed to like. I gave this a try, though, due to it being a bit cheaper per serving and was happy to see that it seems to be their favorite. Even my picky-eater cat was unusually excited about dinner time.
