I realize Nulo cat foods are manufactured in the US, but does Nulo use only US-sourced ingredients, or are some ingredients imported?

The meat, poultry, and fish in Nulo recipes are sourced from the United States and Canada, with the exception of some duck (France), lamb (Australia & New Zealand), and wild-caught fish (regions can vary based on the migratory path of the wild population). Nulo fruits, vegetables, ancient grains, vitamins, and minerals are sourced in North America as well as regions throughout the world, but are always traced and required to meet strict safety and quality standards.

My Flamepoints love it.

My boys have been eating Nulo for years. I switched to it after their brand was bought by a huge company and was discontinued (killed off for being good). They took to it quickly and haven't had any issues. Cans are sometimes delivered damaged (rare), but Chewy has always treated us right with a replacement or refund.

Great ingredients and cats all love it

Feeding these to our 7 indoor cats, all of them love the taste of tis food compared to their previous food (American Journey canned wet food). Smells great. Get the larger can for best value.

Great Food!

I was looking for a grain free wet food, without carrageenan, and this one is a hit with all three of my cats! I highly recommend it if your cat likes turkey and chicken wet food.

My cats preferred the medal series

Compared to the Nulo Medal Series, this version is very soft and more mousse like. I tried both versions and most of my cats preferred the drier, more pate like consistency of the Medal Series version. This version would be a good option for kittens due to the texture.

I love it, cats stopped eating it.

I love nulo wet food. I did a good amount of research and found it to be the best option for kittens when considering a balance of price and ingredient quality. My cats loved this food for one week, but now they won't touch it. I'm not sure what happened. BUT! They love the other two flavors (blue and green); they've been happily eating those for months. I also appreciate the bigger cans because that means less waste.

Something's Wrong with recent versions

I've been giving my cats Nulo Pate for several years now, suddenly the consistency and quality has taken a downturn. What used to be a can full of dense Pate is now loose chunks of Pate swimming in liquid. It seems more like a mistake than a formulation change. I could get two meals, one for each cat out of a can, now maybe 1.5 at most. And the oily water it's in doesn't seem like a nice gravy. It makes me worried a processing step has been missed and it may not even be safe for my cats to consume. After getting 3 cases in a row I stopped ordering it from Chewy and started going to my local store to get them so I could check individual cans for liquid sloshing sounds before buying. That was working for a little bit, but now I'm finding this issue in the stores, and even started finding it in some other Nulo Pate flavors on the store shelf. Might have to stop buying Nulo Pate all together until this is resolved.

Excellent choice

nulo is a wonderful budget friendly, good for them kitten food! It lost slightly to instinct kitten, only because I would have to use a spoon every time vs no spoon. yup silly reason ha! Both kittens really enjoy nulo.

FINALLY something they ALL AGREE ON

Finally a food they ALL like and agree on! It has just the right amount of broth for NuNu, just the right amount of Flavor for Keera, and Floof likes this because he is diabetic and its still low carb. Can we get a Amen!

They Like It

I bought a 5.5 12 pack because it was on sale and the kind I normally buy was out of stock. I prefer pet food that starts with meat as the first ingredient, meaning that meat is the primary food item in the ingredients and not corn or some filler. They really liked it a lot and I liked the moist pate appearance and price, so I bought another 24 pack (I have 2 adult cats). I can afford the current price point but it doubtful about it's regular price. Otherwise a great product.
