We love Chewy!! I have 2 cats and 4 dogs, all rescues. Chewy is my first choice for their foods. In November I received a trial pack of Prowess Mature for my senior cats. Ruby loves it and finishes every morsel! Arthur is still think about it but he has always preferred kibble. He takes his time deciding. What I do know for sure is that it is completely gone in the morning. Unlike the grocery store brands which they never finish, they just lick the gravy. I will continue to order it.

My senior cat loves both flavors in this multipack

I wish you could hear the purring that is coming out of my cat while eating Prowess senior cans. This food must be absolutely delicious because she is a picky eater

I wish you could hear the purring that is coming out of my cat while eating Prowess senior cans. This food must be absolutely delicious because she is a picky eater and she has never purred while eating before or ever really been interested in eating. I give my cat a half a can for each feeding and she eats it all up in one sitting! I would definitely recommend you trying this out for your senior cat, especially if they are a picky eater. Zookie is used to pate canned food so the shreds i have been smashing it up with a fork. The meat is very soft and it is easy to do. I had her on another brand of canned food for digestion problems for a couple months now, but after four days on Prowess i have already decided to switch to this permanently. My cat is just so happy and eating so well.

This is a great moist/wet food for my aging cats.

Very moist and dense wet food for my aging cats! One of mine has become quite picky due to thyroid issues and some congestion, but she lapped this up immediately. The texture is soft and easy for her to eat, and she especially prefers the pate, her favorite so far is the Salmon and Tuna recipe. I also tried it with my younger cat (he’s 8), and he absolutely gobbled it right up! It’s rare to find a food that works well for both of them, but this one has quickly become a favorite in our house. I Highly recommend for picky or sensitive cats.

She loved the salmon and tuna pate the most, but she also enjoyed the chicken and chicken liver shreds. I loved that Nulo Prowess is made with high quality protein and supports muscle health as cats age. Picky eaters approved!

They love them and are picky. The chicken is more of repacked chuncks than shreds. I personally like it as I can mash it up to make it pate, Pickles has more issues

They love them and are picky. The chicken is more of repacked chuncks than shreds. I personally like it as I can mash it up to make it pate, Pickles has more issues eating chuncks as she gets older so it's nice for her, but not rrally considered shreds. The salmon is a little dense but I always add water to their wet food so it helps. That one seemed to bound up Duderz a little bit, but I just added more water to his as he could've been not drinking as much as normal since he is a little temperamental with new kitten.

I would love to give this brand five stars. It has fantastic ingredients and comes in both pate and chunky but unfortunately, my old, set in his ways, grumpy cat won’t eat it. So I can’t know if it’s better for him than the cheap stuff or not. I wish he liked this food as I would feel so much better feeding this to him. Bus, alas. He turns his nose up and refuses.

Pate a hit, doesn't like the shreds

First, I'd say the "shreds" aren't shreds, it's small chunks in a little gravy. That may be one reason our senior girl didn't like that variety. Even adding toppers

First, I'd say the "shreds" aren't shreds, it's small chunks in a little gravy. That may be one reason our senior girl didn't like that variety. Even adding toppers didn't get her to eat it. The pate however, she loved the pate. It's very dense and pasty, hard to get off the spoon, but it's good quality and she eats it all. I will continue to buy the pate, hopefully they'll add more flavors soon.

Usually buy one can to see if she will eat it. Will eat something one time not next. For some reason she does not like this. Go figure, don't understand cats. Give me a dog any day.
