I Feed My Pet A Raw Diet, Does My Pet Still Need Digestive Enzymes?

Assuming that you are feeding only 100% raw meat with no potatoes, rice or vegetables that needs to be cooked (such as FullLife'). You can reduce the amount of Enzyme Miracle' to _ the recommended serving size at each meal. Your pet can still benefit from enzyme supplementation since there is an amount of enzymes lost in the freezing and handling of meat. There is no risk of ""overdoing"" it with enzymes as any enzymes over and above what is needed to digest the food can be used for metabolic functions. Those enzymes can also go to work on breaking down possible allergens that may be lingering, and support the gut as well. Pets suffering from the reaction of flea bite saliva can also benefit from supplemental enzymes.

Is Enzyme Miracle safe for puppies?

Yes. Enzyme Miracle can benefit puppies, too. Simply follow the dosing chart: 1 scoop per cup of pet food. If your puppy eats less than a cup of food at a time, you can estimate the amount of enzymes for less than 1 scoop without risk of ""over-doing"" it.

What do all these enzymes do for my pet?

Digestive enzymes are very specific and only digest specific materials or foods. For this reason, we've supplied a list of each enzyme and how it helps your pet streamline his entire body for maximum health.

Enzyme Miracle' also supplies key minerals in the right amounts for better absorption and delivery of the enzymes. No other enzyme supplement goes to such lengths to support pet digestion.

PROTEASES: The most important enzymes in your pet's digestion for catalyzing the digestion of meat and proteins and their reduction into usable amino acids. Processed and cooked proteins in pet's food are difficult to digest and create an immune reaction when the necessary enzymes are not present at digestion. With vegetarian (plant-based) protease 3.0, 6.0, and 4.5 added to the meal, they break down intact proteins completely, allowing their vital amino acids to be available to your pet.

AMYLASE: Breaks down carbohydrates into sugars for energy and other body systems.

DIASTASE: (Related to Amylase) This key enzyme breaks down carbohydrates and starches to maltose, providing available energy from your pet's meal.

LIPASE: Metabolizes fats (lipids), and triglycerides for improved cardiovascular and neural health.

CELLULASE: Breaks down fiber, which is a difficult process for pets naturally. Without cellulase present in the diet, your pet relies mostly on fermentation to break down cellulose fiber which limits his ability to use its energy and eliminate toxins.

HEMICELLULASE: A sub-class of cellulase which breaks down the cell walls of plants. Plant fibers can be a challenge for dogs, hemicellulase remove the internal fermentation process many dogs use to break down the modern diet.

BROMELAIN: Has both systemic and digestive enzyme properties. Bromelain is a protein digesting enzyme which is also has anti-inflammatory properties. Excellent for aging or arthritic dogs.

BETA-GLUCANASE: A systemic and digestive enzyme breaks down fiber, fungi, yeast, and bacteria. Incredibly helpful for dogs suffering from yeast, candida, and gas associated with poor digestion.

PEPTIDASE: A sub-call of proteolytic metabolizing enzymes, catalyzes peptides to amino acids, giving protein digestion a boost.

Why should I include vitamins & supplements in my pet's diet?

Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.

How often should I give this supplement to my pet?

It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Is this supplement safe to use with the medication my pet is currently taking?

If your pet has a medical condition and is taking other medication, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to ensure that this supplement is safe to use.

    Digestive enzymes

    By on

One of my little Min Pins has pancreatitis. It causes her to vomit from time to time, more than any dog should. I know digestive enzymes make a huge difference in humans with acid reflux. I decided to try them on her. It's been about 3 weeks now and she has not vomited once. At age 9 she acts more like a puppy; she's very playful now. If her vomiting had anything to do with acid reflux, I truly can not imagine going through it without the help of enzymes.

    Wonderful Product for Wonderful Poops!!!

    By on

Our GSD puppy has had issues since we got him. He came from the breeder with hookworms. Once they were cleared up his stools were still soft and sometimes cow patties. We had him on probiotics and they didnt do much. We switched foods on vets advice. I finally read online about Miracle Enzymes and within 2 days his poop firmed up. He is eating less because his food is actually getting fully digested!!! This stuff did wonders for our pup!

    Pretty Amazing!

I have a 16 year old lab mix that has had digestive issues on and off for about the last year. In the 2 1/2 months prior to starting Nusentia Enzyme Miracle he lost about 18 pounds. My vet recommended a digestive enzyme and after reading reviews I decided to try this one. I am so glad I did. He has gained back all the weight he lost and is doing better. Thanks to Nusentia and Chewy could not be a better place to order from. They are super fast and have Excellent customer service.

My Bichonpoo is frequently licking his own mouth after he eats, it looks like he has upset stomach, I bought these in hopes it would help, it does seem he is doing that behavior less after feeding him with these enzymes.

    Great supplement!

    By on

We put our pup on this after she had to be at the emergency vet for a couple of days due to constant vomiting. At the end they had no clue what was wrong with her and was put on several medicines. Thankfully with this in her food she never had any digestive upset from the medicine. With long-term use we noticed she has been shedding less and doesn't have that black dog stink she has. We'll be using this indefinitely.

    Used for pancreatitis

    By on

I used this product after my senior male went through acute pancreatitis. It helped him immensely with the vomiting and diarrhea and I believe it also helped with the pain that comes with the pancreatitis. He was on it until he passed away. I highly recommend this product.

    Did not help

    By on

While this product was odorless and easy to scoop in her meals,it did nothing for my dog's skin/allergy problems which have been chronic throughout this year. This is 1 of several items I've ordered for her allergies. I waited until we completed 2 jars to see a difference. Enough time has passed and her skin condition did not yield improvement.Chewy was even kind enough to send a replacement because the first container of this product was nearly empty.

One of the few products I immediately repurchase

    By on

I try a lot of supplements for my dogs , most feeling like they do next to nothing. I have a gsd who had persistent issues with yeast and allergy symptoms all last year. We did put him on an elimination diet so I will not credit this product with the complete reduction of his allergy symptoms , but the difference in his digestion is remarkable . I can tell the days I don't use it because his poop reduces to almost half size when this supplement is added. I have a big dog (90lb ) so I do use quite a bit of this (3-4 scoops a day) but it lasts awhile and I am extremely thrilled with results .

"Enzyme Miracle" says it all in the name

    By on

My 1 yr old dog is a Parvo survivor and suffered from the intestinal issues all his life. Possibly from being on the strong antibiotics in the very young age that killed all good bacteria. Within a week, I started to see firmer poops for the 1st time in his life! 2 weeks into it, he's regular and poops are all normal. Can't thank enough for this product.
