How is the maximum strength Cosequin different from this one? All the ingredients and quantities are the same.
Can cosequin be desolved and given in water

The contents of the capsules may be given with a small amount (i.e. tablespoon) of wet or moist food to ensure your cat eats the entire amount. If your cat eats dry food, the food may be moistened with a small amount of water.
What is the difference between this product and Nutramax Cosequin Original Joint Health Sprinkle Capsules Cat Supplement, 30 count? The active ingredients look the same, but packaging and descriptions are different. Trying to determine which to get. Thanks!

The Original Cosequin for Cats and Cosequin for Cats are the same. They contain the same ingredients. Labeling and count size are different.

Helped Immensely

We take care of a super old (borderline "ancient") barn/neighborhood cat. He has pretty bad arthritis - he hated being picked up because it hurt him. I started mixing this with his wet food about once a day and it has helped him so much. He doesn't mind being picked up or touched anymore - he is a different cat! I wish I could give this to my arthritic mother.....

A great supplement

I decided to try Cosequin when one of my cats developed a small limp. I wouldn't say this was what made her limp go away, however I do believe getting her daily Cosequin supplement helped her get moving more comfortably on her journey to lose some weight which has allowed her limp to get better. She still enjoys laying around like the lazy girl she is, but she gets the zoomies much more frequently now with the help of this every other day for maintenance.

Cosequin Capsules

Can't really tell whether it helps, but he likes this better than the "treats", at which he has been turning up his nose. Sprinkled the contents of the capsule on his wet food; he lapped it all up.

No Dye in the product, as someone stated

I called the company that makes it, and the only dye is in the capsule itself, which you do not give to your cat. You should open the capsule and sprinkle it on the canned food. My cat gobbles it right up on his canned food.

Easy to hide

These were purchased to help my 16yr old cat's mobility. He sometimes looks like he's a little stiff when waking up. He is very picky about food and treats. I am able to sprinkle a little of this into his wet food without him noticing anything has been added. I've started slow, increasing the amount I sprinkle in. His bowel movements were a little loose at first. He also gets his chewable senior cat vitamin crumbled and mixed in. He eats it all up, but too early to tell if he feels better yet, hence just four stars.

Seems to be helping

My 10.5 year old seemed to be having hind leg jumping issues, especially higher countertops. Noticed after clipping his front nails what he had been using that strength to pull himself up to complete a jump. I started this two weeks ago, he seems to be in better spirits and attempting to jump higher distances. Time will tell.

Works wonders for my senior cats

My cats vet recommended glucosamine to help with their joints. They were slower going up stairs and have a harder time jumping up on furniture.They are so lively now, jumping places they haven’t for a while and just have a lot more spunk. It’s been amazing for them. I sprinkle it in their wet food, the capsule makes it very easy. Definitely try it for your senior cat!

Works like magic!

Our veterinarian suggested Cosequin along with a pain med for a period of one month for our cat that was suffering with hip pain. Given this time our cat was so much better. I have continued the Cosequin as it seems to provide continued comfort and movement.

A Joy to Find

I was at the end of my rope with frustration. My 19 year old cat refused to eat her food with the other joint medication that I was using. So it was a relief to find this product, which she actually likes! She eats it without any problems, and I am so pleased. Thank you for making a product that my cat will eat!

Easy to Buy at Chewy

Our vet prescribed this for our cat who has arthritis. When we tried to buy it again, they wouldn't let us without another prescription. We found it on Chewy, with no prescription or hassles and it was here in a couple of days.
